“Aroma is sweet, floral with some vanilla. Flavor is well balanced. Not overly sweet, strong floral and fruity taste with peach predominant, a little black pepper. Earthy and cooked agave flavor is not apparent. Finish is good. Smooth, with nice pepperiness that does not linger.”

“The aroma is mild, smells a little of fresh cut agave. This tequila has good body. Some flavor of clay, which might be a function of the soil in which it was grown. First taste gives way to some bitterness, but it does not linger, and is followed by a hot, somewhat floral, spicy hit. Finish is smooth with some residual heat. Price is fair for the Tequila in the bottle”

“Aroma is mildly spicy with some hints of hay. Flavor has notes of anise and other warm spices. This tequila has a lot of body to it (i.e., not thin and watery) which gives it a heavier, rounded mouthfeel. Finish is hot and peppery, but not harsh. Goes down fairly easily. I purchased this bottle in Mexico and it was very inexpensive. The tequila in the bottle fair exceeded the price I paid.”

“Light, clean, slightly herbaceous aroma. Not too sweet. Nice, clear agave flavor, not muddied by over manipulation. Has a slight. but pleasant bitterness. Very well balanced. Peppery finish that stays on the palate just long enough. This is not an inexpensive tequila but it is quite good and, in general, the quality lives up to the price point”

“Pleasant, light agave aroma. Faint smell of clay Has a rather unpleasant chemical taste on the front end I like the finish on this tequila. Spicy with some hints of anise. Overpriced for what it is. I have long been a fan of the Volcan de mi Tierra Reposado and happened to have a small bottle of the VdmT Blanco on hand that was produced PRIOR to being bought out by Hennessey. I tasted the Hennessey Blanco side-by-side with the original Blanco and, hands down, the original was better because it was better balanced overall. The taste on the front end was clean agave with some hints of clove, the finish less pronounced than in the Hennessey product”
