“Doesn’t smell like I want to dig in, not pungent but not top shelf smelling. Flavor better then expected but a longer bitter finish then expected. Not a bad tequila, though as I write this I still feel some stinging in my chest.... still there.... eh. I would serve it but not to empress. Not sure about recommending it, I would because it’s not a bad tequila, but there are so many good ones out there. On it’s own merit without comparing it to others I guess I would. ”

“OK, here is the Tequila that started the transformation from Vodka. Took the giant Costco size up to Whistler with the boys and it’s been a trek for good Tequila ever since. Nose is good, I even got a hint of vanilla? Am I starting to detect this stuff? Taste was good but had a bit more alhohol sting then some of the other fine Blanco’s I’ve been sipping. Finish was nice but again, a bit of a bite but nothing that would keep me from pouring another. Great deal at Costco even with Washington State tax added. ”

“So the first time I had this was buying a 375 in Denver for the hotel room and some prefunking. Didn’t know anything about it except that it was pricey (which obviously doesn’t mean good). My cousin and I could hardly drink it, this after drinking Casa Dragones Sipping Tequila at the airport Centurion Lounge just days before. I was more on a mission then he was so one was enough. I already paid for it so what the heck.... it wasn’t Cuervo Gold so I could handle it. I just wouldn’t buy it again. Had to wash that down with some water, not a fan of the finish. Tried it again at home just to be sure... yea... not a fan. ”

“My first non-blanco tequila I’ve rated. To be fair I know I like blanco’s more. Never liked whiskey to I think the oak aging is what turns me off aged tequila. I can smell the oak or whiskey like right off the bat. Ok, just tasted it. Very surprised I liked it as much. Had a hint of that oak/whiskey flavor but quickly turned back to agave and was very smooth. I like smooth. The finish was very pleasant with no burn or crazy picker face. Uh oh, I don’t want to like Anejo’s because of the $$. But it is what it is! ”

“Lot 61-B to be exact. Very sweet smell. Again, I wish I could pick out aroma’s!!! Very smooth with very little burn. ( I don’t like a burn that I feel I need to chase with). This is nice. Medium length finish which is good for my taste, I don’t need it to linger for 5 minutes. I like this and it’s a great value as well. ”

“Little too much alcohol smell, like a prequel to the burn that might occur in a minute or so. Again, I’m not refined enough to pick out specific flavors. I can sip this Blanco, but with so many good ones on my shelf. Why? It didn’t taste as bad as I anticipated but the “finish” was a long slow slight burn down the pipe, all the way to the bottom. Not a horrible aftertaste to be honest, and for how much this was its a great shooter for a house party and a mighty fine mixer.”

“Good smell though it has a slight alcohol/burn scent. Flavor was nicer then the smell, smooth. I can’t pick out specific flavors or smells yet so I won’t even try. New to tequila in the last year from years of Vodka. Finish was smooth, no alcohol burn and lasted for a nice time without making me pucker up at all. For me I know I am starting with high reviews because these are some of my favorites I have tried the last year of of my journey and have purchased. So I know I like em! ”

“This is my first review. I know this is one of my favorites already so giving it high marks is not a surprise. I’m new to the aromas and telling them apart but I hope with time I can start. This smelled great on the nose and the taste was even better. Just resting my sip I wasn’t trying to gulp it down. No burn and very clean finish. Very little alcohol and no chemical taste as far as I can tell. ”
