“Lots of vanilla on the nose. It was much smoother one it had time for some air. Became the perfect afternoon sipper in the pool. layers of flavors of agave, oak and butterscotch. Nice lingering finish. ”

“I was first introduced to this tequila some time ago. Stopped at the Tequila bar at the Agave Grill in PV. I was trying to find something I had never tried before and this bottle caught my eye. A generous pour as the bartender said "A very good choice, Senior!" I had no idea a shot was going to cost me $35, and this was back some time. Great nose with plenty of agave and spice. Was not prepared for the finish that was more like a high proof blanco than an XA. Caramel and butterscotch. Heat on first sip that fades with the second. At thwis point in my Tequila education, it was the most expensive I had ever tasted. I couldn't afford it at the time, but it did send me down a path that has no end but many delicious branches. ”

“Nose: clean agave notes with just a hint of pepper. Inviting. Taste: Starts smooth and then develops some heat on the tongue. Smooth mouthfeel with a feeling that might be glycerin enhances, but not sweet. Strong agave notes and the pepper shows up. Not unpleasant but nothing that makes it a standout blanco worthy of the price it sells for. I don't think I'll buy another of these, but I won't be pouring this down the drain either. it will be a good part of a blanco tasting party. ”
