“This is smooth. Lovely aroma to start, my nose filled with notes of vanilla and oak. The taste at first is smooth and follows up with a bit of a bite. The finish makes this experience a high rated one in my book. Definitely a sipper, no mixing here.”

“Definitely one of the better Blancos I've ever had. A sweet aroma, not too powerful taste, and a clean finish makes this a top 5 Blanco for its money.”

“2020 LA LOMA The scent is really nice and playful. Agave and citrus fill thr nostrils. But upon sipping I'd have to say I get a big earthy flavor from it which for me personally was unappealing. What made up for it though was a very smooth finish.”

“Alcohol forward but pleasant scents and notes hidden underneath. Good as a shooter since the finish falls off and doesn't sit in the chest afterwards. Wouldn't recommend as a sipper since the alcohol taste would overpower everything else as you sip on.”

“This feels like it's a dessert or after dinner tequila for sure. It is sweet, definitely the sweetest tequila I've ever had. I get notes of honey and vanilla throughout the whole ride. It does feel thicker than most which could be the sweet factor. Absolutely for sipping.”

“The aroma is sweet and very inviting. The taste offers complexity of vanilla and pepper. It bites, but at least the finish is a lot smoother. Definitely a nicer sipping tequila.”

“It feels as if a good amount of the aroma and flavors have been removed. It lacks enough character, but at the same time it doesn't have anything wrong with it. It's not too smooth or too hard. Could be good for sipping, wouldn't recommend shooting.”

“Fantastic aroma, you get the oak barrel from this. The sip is not complimentary as it is very alcohol forward but the finish is nice. This is my favorite of the Patron trio as I like to sip on tequilas.”

“The smell is alcohol forward with this tequila. The taste lacks more complex flavors that characterize a good añejo. What really saves this tequila is the finish, which is smooth and will make you feel like you can enjoy it throughout the night.”

“Nice smooth aroma of oak and cooked agave. Stronger alcohol content makes it have more bite and finish. Definitely stays in the chest, but overall something nice to sip on.”

“Not nearly as bad as Patron Silver, another tequila that benefits from a longer aging and cooking. The smell of vanilla is complimentary here, even though it doesn't stay in the taste as the alcohol overpowers the other flavor notes.”

“NOM 1609 This is the tequila I recommend to people who want an intro to great quality tequila. With a smooth vanilla/caramel scent, followed by an even smoother taste and finish, this is one of my favorites in my tequila collection.”

“Not nearly as bad at the Blanco, this one benefits from the longer cooking and aging. Definitely a note of vanilla in the scent and some in the taste.”

“I feel like the smell will mislead, as it is subtle when poured. But the taste brings a nice pepper bite at the front, but a lasting alcohol taste on the back end. The aromas and tastes that sit in your mouth after word are worth it if you can handle a strong alcohol taste and feel going down. Not a slipper, shoot it and move on.”

“The Beats By Dre of tequila, in that the marketing fooled me in thinking this is better than it was. The peppery taste lingers on the tongue as well as a tingle long after the tequila is gone. Either a shot tequila or a mixer, but nothing worth sipping. Party on.”

“Scent is mellow, with notes of vanilla that is complimentary. Sip is easy as well as it has a short sting at the top and a smooth and velvet finish. This is something I can enjoy taking shots of throughout the night as the flavor that lingers is nice.”

“Definitely a smooth scented tequila. Very strong with the burn of alcohol at first sip. It has notes of pepper to follow with a soothing aftertaste. I can see this making a very nice shot taking tequila if you want to ride that flavor through the night in your mouth.”

“This tequila has a bite at the beginning but a nice flavor in the aftertaste. Definitely something worth mixing, but not sipping on its own. Taking shots from this should be smooth.”
