Lokita Tequila Añejo
“Good color with a bit of a strong sting. Pleasant but indistinguishable flavors that are like butterscotch and slight pepper. Good texture but unassuming flavor with little taste afterwards.”

“Light but bodied flavor. Oak, Apple, slight butterscotch. Slight punch with an immediate flavor complexity above. Almost watery texture in the swallow, with a long flavor profile. Easy sipper. Definitely enjoyable!”

Kah Añejo
“Interesting flavor for an anejo. Plain flavor profile with strong alcohol notes. Very good hang time under the gums. Has lot of potential but just doesn’t do anything. Scent is plain, almost water after the first sip. Exciting bottle, lackluster contents.”

Rejón Extra Añejo (5 year)
“A delicious tequila with fantastic flavor profile. Complex with butterscotch vanilla and cinnamon and anise. Personally dislike the and smooth finish; it can’t decide what it wants to be. Strong mouthfeel at the end.”

“Interesting but a less than expected tequila. Clear color bellies the complexity of the flavors. Very nice floral tones with long lasting mouthfeel. The notes of vanilla and oak are present slightly. While nice and a good over ice drinker, I expected more intense flavor. Now, it feels like a a good tequila to drink, but with the flavors of an anejo, it feels short. Compared to the classic anejo, it doesn’t have the complex odor nor the flavor. But the floral notes do make it a more complex drink.”

“Tequila has strong flowery rose water aroma, with an almost elderflower flavor and smell. Clears from the palate swiftly but stays in the nose for a short while later.”

Padre Azul Tequila Reposado
“A delicious tequila reposado, again very different chilled vs room temp. Smells like candy vanilla with a slight “paint thinner” aroma, but in a sexy way. Excellent mouthfeel and taste with a moderate hanging of flavor after the sip is done. ”

Asombroso Gran Reserva Ultra Añejo
“Delicious caramel smell, strong taste of caramel and vanilla. Clean finish with a slight tingle, leaving hints of vanilla behind. One of the few tequila I like more clean. Ice seems to open it up in a strange way, almost dilutes it too much but leaves the vanilla strongly behind. Delicious.”

Ayate Añejo
“Sipping tequila starts slightly watery bit with a strong flavor. Hints of fruit, caramel, and something oaky, but overpowered by strong butterscotch vapors and flavor tones. A sweet and watery sensation with a clean finish leaving hints of caramel and a slight sting.”

Casamigos Tequila Añejo
“Very safe drink. Nothing peppery or sweet. Easy drink. The Blanco and the anejo are generally similar. The anejo terrors to give vanilla and caramel but doesn’t quite make it. Still for the price not bad.”

Clase Azul Reposado
“Excellent sipping tequila. Good note of vanilla and caramel, sweet. Sits nicely on the tongue at first, then ends with a light acidic bite. Lips have sweetness and mouth has a clearing bite. Flavor clears out after a few seconds but tingle remains. More bite in back of throat on subsequent sips.”

Grand Leyenda Añejo
“A smooth Anejo, started like a caramel flavor but ends sharply with a slightly peppery string, which fades to citrus, sage, tarragon, and maybe licorice? Or clove? Very tasty, has a great mouthfeel as an aftertaste, clean and bright, but does not fade away quickly. ”
