Siembra Valles Ancestral Blanco
“Marshmallows on top of cream on top of marshmallow. Incredible nose. Note* I am primarily a mezcal drinker, so this hits everything that I want in terms of richness in a tequila. ”

Wild Common Tequila Reposado
“Far less soft than batch 4, both in palette and nose. Way more baking spice and viscosity”

Tequila Mi Casa 9yr XA Small Batch
“Surprisingly light on oak tannin/influence on the palette after 9 years of aging and never debarreling. I like the herbal tones that pop through, and was happy to taste agave still. The nose is all caramel and marshmallow. The negative flavor note that pops out is the slightly acidic taste and feeling left on the tongue. It blends a bit with the herbal tones which balance it. Nice to have a non-additive anejo at this age.”

Tequila Mi Casa Blanco (2011)
“I think this is a great example of a tequila that has viscosity and a texture on the palette that is often associated with the additive glycerin in a tequila. Likely from the prolonged resting of this tequila in stainless steel tanks for up to 10 years. You get cream, bits of vanilla, and subtle agave showing through. It’s 45.5 abv but proof wise you pick up on the alcohol. ”
