“The nose on this is almost second to none for blanco. All the suggested notes from the back of the bottle come through. Tasting brings me through a sweetness that starts and never stops, almost too over the top, but then mellows into the special puntas varietal that CC wanted you to experience. You’ll want to work your way to this blanco rather than reach for it first. HH knew what they were buying and the brand continues to be a top choice for availability, reliability and special picks.”

“Fun one! Candy in the nose, candy on the pallet. Super easy drinker that starts out with your typical agave flavors but then all the barrel flavors poke through and you end up with a Werther’s Original finish. Typically I get a dry finish on wine barrel aged spirits but that’s not present here. Enjoyable spirit that I’d go for again in a bar setting.”

“As with many other notable NOM 1123 examples, this has a strong, pleasant aroma of minerals and rich soil and roastiness. It’s there and goes down quickly with flavors like its aromas. Does not linger, a little watery, with an almost sweet finish. For the same price I’m likely buying a bottle of C Tahona, but since this readily available, everyone should pick some up.”

“Oh my this is such a divisive thing. I’m on the “must acquire immediately” train. The exp starts with twisting the heavy marble off the bottle. Nose of fresh pencil eraser mixed with designer fragrance section of the dept store. Coniferous, peppery, roasted seaweed journey. Finish is long. Poppyseed. One of my fav 80pf tequilas available, period. ”

“A whiff from the glass and you’re not sure whether you’ve made a mistake. First touch of the palette and the feeling lingers but quickly dispels. This is good juice. The finish is so pleasant for me. Anise, lawnmower on a Sunday, fresh rainwater, little pepper and it varies slightly with every sip. Great bottle presentation. Looking forward to 2024 example. ”

“From the aroma to viscosity to color to subtle green peppery overtones and finish, this little gem is a must-have. I consider it my ‘house’ blanco now and the tequila-uninitiated will start here. It’s the gateway to steer bourbon drinkers our way. So good.”

“Wish I could rate it higher. Their marketing and bottle presentation are stellar. The color is so bright and inviting. There are just so many more high proof blancos I reach for before this expression. I’m positive there is liquid cucumber in this spirit somewhere.”

“I want to see/taste/feel like everyone else. It’s natural. But try as I may, it does not connect with Cazcanes, and this No10 doesn’t do it for me, esp at the price point. Aroma is briney and muted. Taste is that of an unexpected wave of Galveston Gulf Seafoam that caught you with your mouth open…uninviting the desire for more. Finish is grassy but not bad. I can almost get two bottles of T110 for this and will in the future.”

“Whelming. Certainly not over, and unfortunately mostly under. The nose is delightful but it’s missing something. I get the undertones of vanilla like others, but it’s dull like walking thru underbrush in the desert. The taste is gentle and sweet and enjoyable for a few seconds then fades. Little to no finish which is the most disappointing piece of this higher priced bottle. The value really brings the score down for me. ”
