Dobel Tahona Tequila Blanco
“Similar to San Matias Tahona. Tastes like a mixture of Tahona and Roller Mill. Still decent. Better option is El Tesero Blanco or G4 Blanco. Much better at similar price. No comparison to great products like Cascahuin Tahona and Alto Canto. ”

Tequila Primo 1861 Blanco (NOM 1579)
“A top 5 blanco made for those in the know. G4 line the better known product. Tahona extraction with spring water and open air fermentation produces an agave forward awesome tequila. If they tried fermenting with fibers it could bring out new complexity. I have bought more than a dozen bottles from Total Wine , anything $60-70 is a great value. It takes 2 times more agave to use Tahona extraction. ”

El Tesoro Blanco
“The original Tahona extraction tequila. Easy to find at a reasonable price. Agave forward , smooth tequila. Only drink tequilas that use Tahona extraction and do not break the fibres. Everything else poor tequila. There is a filter on TM for Tahona extraction, try these first. ”

Siete Leguas Blanco
“Really nice Tahona extraction tequila. Very smooth, good agave, not that complex but readily available. I only drink Tahona extraction tequila as everything else is poor in comparison. Tahona extraction does not break fibers which is critical in tequila taste. ”

Alto Canto Blanco High Proof
“07/24 release. The best Blanco for smooth , fruit Forward with high complexity from mineral and spontaneous fermentation. This year old producer will be a top 5 distiller this year. This is a two ingredient tequila , Agave and Mountain Spring Water. Completely unique malolactic yeast character from distilling at high altitude. This is permanently on my shelf with Cascahuin Tahona Blanco, Primo 1861, and Fortaleza. I believe any top rated tequila should only use Tahona extraction and not break the fibers, then distill with fibers for additional agave flavor. ”

Cascahuín Aniversario Blanco
“Great Agave and Mineral character creating a lot of complexity. The higher proof brings out more mineral compared to Tahona Blanco. I still like the Tahona Blanco for being more fruit forward. Also more available in the $75 a bottle range. ”
