Yéyo Joven Luna: Day of the Dead
“First question would have to be what peaches they used. This is actually the worst YeYO product I’ve ever tasted. Over ripe peaches during process? Have peach stave used on YeYO high proof that is excellent, this does not reflect anything but a$$ of peach. Have feeling they spoiled some point in process. Love brand, just have distaste for a usually solid brand.”

Tau Tequila Blanco High Proof
“Bought Tau High Proof to blend down their 5 year old high proof XA. Green (fresh) barrel wood notes bit over the top, nothing a little still strength blanco couldn’t clear. Didn’t take much, less than 6oz. But continuing on with process cause Tau High Proof Blanco is one of the very best I’ve had. Insane agave character, warming as it should be but not hot, just soothing. I’ve tried as many high proofs out there as anyone and if you can find a bottle of this it’s 10 times better than Lalo High Proof. Only one I can think of as better and it’s not Lost Lore or Forteleza Still Strength it’s Viva Mexico Madera. 90.”

Yeyo Añejo - Mission 1530
“Aroma is like walking into a barrel aging room, musty, oaky & brine. Flavor of Orange peel, rum and molasses blend into harmony with unusual depth and precision. Finish smooth, rich & oily with spices lingering long after sip. Overall it’s a 90 + depends on your own opinion of course, but a level up in complexity from something familiar to all, Fortaleza Anjeo.”
