“In the nose you can already tell it’s full bodied and smoky. I got caramel and cherry in the bouquet as well. In the mouth full bodied confirmed! The caramel comes in along with that aforementioned cherry plus oak, yet still a very fresh and fruity feel. Definitely one to have neat, share only with those who can appreciate it, and if so, do your best not to finish the bottle in one sitting. But then again the value is great so wtf buy another bottle. ”

ElVelo Tequila Reposado

“In the nose better than in mouth. The issue for me is that the alcohol taste was too strong for a reposado, especially at this price. This, combined with a very strong finish of a bitter orange peel or grapefruit peel did not make it a great sipping tequila for me. However I’d recommend it 5/5 as a mixer or over a healthy amount of ice. Or as good ole fashioned fancy tequila shot with salt and maybe lime or an orange slice. I later had this in a tamarind tequila with a Tajín rim. That’s what it’s perfect for!”
