“On the nose I get that floral aroma that I find in all Tesoro expressions. It’s followed up by some smokiness and agave. A lot of complexity on the palette. Definitely taste that barrel influence with a smokey oak flavor to start. Some agave and minerality come through at the end. Definitely a unique expression. Got this for a great price at hi proof liquor. (I don’t work there)”

“Love the bottle itself and the top that it comes with. A lot to take in on the nose. Various fruity notes- lime, orange with a funky agave finish. That funk and citrus hit the palette immediately, followed by oak, agave and some heat on the way down. Haven’t tried it, but feel like this would be good for cocktails. As a sipper it’s okay, but can’t be mad at the price and availability. ”

“Let’s start by stating that El Tesoro does not miss. All their expressions are trademarked by this very floral aroma and the XA is no different. There’s also a good amount of agave and a sweet buttery smell at the end. The taste is very unique starting with that floral complexity that transitions into hints of grape and agave and a ton of barrel notes on the back end. Every sip seems somewhat unique and this has been one of my favorite bottles to date. ”

“A really cool looking unique bottle definitely set the stage for excitement. And this repo did not disappoint. A lot of agave on the nose with some sweet vanilla coming through as well. Minty, spicy, minerally tastes swirl in to start. Followed by apple, oak and a little orange zest. Got this bottle at HI PROOF liquor, which has amazing deals and they ship for a very reasonable price. Would definitely definitely recommend this bottle for sipping and mixing ”
