This Reposado is entry level decent. It’s sip-able and would make an un offensive cocktail. It’s pretty light on the agave but and I dont taste anything funny either.

Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Vanilla, Carmel, Butterscotch, Cinnamon, Honeysuckle. Palate: Stone Fruit, Vanilla, Cinnnamon, Pepper. Finish: Honey, Agave, Vanilla, Cream Soda The nose actually seemed fairly decent to me. The flavor and the finish proved to be far too sweet for me. I seemed to get too much sweetness and a lack of agave.

Repo like the blanco, this repo is an easy sipper. subtle barrel notes, vanilla, caramel. not complex with a short finish, probably due much aeration. trying to define the aftertaste. overall, this is an easy sipper and will be approachable to newbies. tho it's probably too mellow for experienced enthusiasts.

A nicely balanced Reposado, rested almost 12 months, no over powering wood notes, some spice, light sweetness, overall pleasing

smells great, sweet with a bit of oak. Flavor is good, kind of dry considering how sweet it smells. I would still say this is priced just a bit too high at $60.

Hats off to Todd and Chad for a great tequila recipe. Wow! the repo is delightful. Earthiness, grassy, and nice barrel notes. I ordered on their website....free shipping... got here quick! Totally enjoyed what is coming out of nom 1533! GREAT JOB Ms. Melly. I am very pleased with this repo...so much, I turned around and ordered the Blanco. Great brand!

Aroma is agave- oaky whiskey and pepper with a light earthiness. On the palate it starts wet agave with strong whiskey barrel flavors and anise with light pepper. The barrel notes are very evident- almost like most Anejos. The finish is good- agave with barrel earthy pepper that lingers about 20 seconds. Enjoyable overall.

A decent reposado with a backend subtle sweetness. Agave, butter and light caramel flavors are detected. A sipper that doesn’t need to be in a cocktail.

Agave aroma with hints of caramel and vanilla. Taste is sweeter than I prefer but well balanced and good value.

This is my new #1. Absolutely amazing if you like yummy sweet tequila. Very buttery, creme brulee, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and agave stand out. Hints of nut, butterscotch, honey and oak. This one is hard to sip slow because it's just so delicious.
