“Underwhelming, flat. Very little agave flavor, a slight hint of pepper, artificial fruit flavor. I would pass on this bottle if looking for quality additive free tequila to enjoy the true beauty of what tequila can be”

“The aroma and taste start similar then change the more you taste it. Aroma is cooked agave black pepper some fruit slight melon and some sweetness from vanilla and carmel The taste starts similar then goes deeper with oak and a good funky taste of a sweet slightly smoky tobacco. Has clean complexity about it that I enjoy and definitely keep a bottle for a nice relaxing sipper.”

“The aroma and taste are very similar - cooked agave and pepper are front and center followed by earthy mineral and some citrus fruit. It has a nice finish that hangs on for a few extra seconds. This is an all around great tequila for sipping and/or mixing. This drinks as a much higher value but at its very friendly price it is worth stocking a few bottles in your barz ”

“This is a good anejo for me. Cooked agave, carmel, vanilla, oak, butterscotch, cinnamon on the nose. I taste the same with some maple, baking spice. Well balanced overall and sweet but not overly sweet. Makes for a great sipper after dinner. And the donations for the Jaguar project makes it even more worthwhile. ”

“A lot going on with this blanco. Bright crisp clean with cooked agave citrus and black pepper up front followed by a vegetal and earthy flavor with some mint joining in. The pepper is up front and at the back end giving some heat at the finish. Definitely a good mixer for cocktails and a pleasant sipper for a blanco”

Cooked agave, pepper, minerals, citrus, and some vegetal motes are present combining to bring you a high proof that is delicious and easy to drink. Try it and you will find yourself going back for more. ”

“I am a fan of this one from G4. The nose gives you cooked agave with cinnamon and a faint caramel for a slightly sweet aroma. Black pepper joins in for that spicy note. The taste follows a lot of the aroma notes with some oak blending in. It definitely reminds me of the G4 family and I enjoy sipping this after dinner. ”

“The dried cherry and fruit aromas come through upfront with cinnamon and oak rounding out. On the palette I get cooked agave, dried cherry, cinnamon some vanilla and oak barrel. The flavors meld together in a cohesive way that is pleasing. You may not think ex cherry bitters barrels would be rich and pleasant but they are. Lasting finish in a good way that makes you want to go back more. ”

“Black pepper and cooked agave jump right up front and dominate this G4 in both aroma and taste. Minerals and a minty vegetal taste follow with bell pepper, jalapeño, and mint. There is a citrus finish that makes it a crisper ending. Different than expected in a good way for a G4 and worth grabbing if you find it. ”
