Decent tequila. A bit perfume on the aroma. The taste is a little rough and more of the floral. Licorice finish is a little bitter.
subtle nose and nice palate. Guess I’m in the minority for liking this one. Great price for it.
Nose is like fresh bubble gum and spring water. Mouthfeel is great however taste is slight cooked agave followed by lactic, and pineapple.

Aromas - anise, highly floral; all the flowers, this is a flower shop. Flavors are bracing, bitter, salty, and the finish sucks all of the moisture out of your mouth but it does it quickly and then it’s gone.
Tried at a tasting at El Portal in Pasadena after probably 10 other shots. I remember it being ok. Not super defined but smooth on the palate. Will definitely try again for a better review when available. At the second time tasting and: Nose is like hubba bubba (ethyl butyrate) Taste is very dry and almost like vodka. Finish is smooth and quick. Not for me but maybe for some.
Tad bit earthy, classic profile, no gimmick. Sticks around fair on finish.
Santaleza Blanco $55 USD (Ferment and Still) Overall: Very solid blanco that is easy to sip. Not competively priced. Nose: Bright, green agave, floral orange blossoms, white pepper, and mint. A trace of minerality. Taste: A dry, delicate sweetness on the tongue with a splash of cracked black pepper. Velvety on the palate with honey sweetness, and tangerine citrus, and hints of cinnamon. Finish: The light honey and cinnamon linger for a soft and natural finish.
Very soft and mellow. Taste the agave but less peppery than many Blancos. A gentle tequila.
Rather subdued and timid nose with a touch of ethanol. Palate displays some citrus, pepper and light agave. Nice viscosity and mouthfeel. It’s a solid, inoffensive blanco with no detectable additives. However, in terms of aroma and flavor not nearly as punchy and agave-forward as I would personally like. Probably didn’t help that I was sipping this alongside a 1579 product.
Small sample. Easy drinker, picked up some banana notes.
