Cabal Blanco (NOM 1480)

“On first sniff, it is average and not bad at all but definitely getting vanilla. After tasting, I'm getting a clean raw agave followed by more vanilla sweetness and alcohol. The dry alcohol makes for a long finish with little pepper but hot in the end. I don't think I would purchase again but I've had much worse. I will try again and see if there review changes in the future.”

“I can smell the classic 1414 footprint right off the bat and I like. Oak barrel mellowed. Less smoke than I would expect but so balanced. Very delicious. Sweet finish with slight pepper and molasses. ”

“The top note I'm catching on the nose is smoke. The flavor follows with sweet cooked agave and earth. Finishes with a touch of spice but very medium. Pretty descent drink. Not on my top ten but very sip worthy. Price is outstanding at $35. Just to add some more info, this bottle is 42% and a black label.”
