“Pretty bottle. Better than average aromas, but not particularly astonishing on the pallet. Hungarian and French oak is a welcome experience, but balance isnt there. If this were a $30-$40 offering, I would place a higher rating - but it is far from afforble. Try, yes. Buy, no way.”

“Peloton Blanco sells in Virginia for $38 for a quality high-proof (46%) blanco. Aromas of baked agave, slight minerality, white pepper, lemon grass, and grapefruit zest. Let this rest and open up. Wonderful heat, pepper, butter, and sweetness. Minerality and baked agave, are there with maybe Jalapeño. The 46% ABV is very present in a wonderful delivery and doesn't leave too soon. Finish is wonderful. Bravo!”

“At $25, this a reasonable option as a mixer. Nice complex aromas, a bit flat on the taste, but the after taste is not particularly pleasant. ”

“Symphony #2 - Not bad, but particularly amazing. Clean sip and very easy to drink. A nice departure for the wine enthusiast, but particularly remarkable. Give it a try.”

“I may be in the minority, but this expression was completely forgettable. While not offensive, the aromas, taste, and finish fell flat. A real disappointment. Yes, I love wine barrel expressions but I cant get behind this Anjeo. Reccomend you try before you buy.”

“Falls short compared to the blanco, and really doesn't hit any chords for me. While not offensive, this is an easily forgettable Rosa. Suggest you try before you buy.”

“I'm with Bill Durnbaugh. His review has a great breakdown and I could agree more. Here's the thing...the level of sweetness is tips the scale for me and its not my go-toprofile. While there is plenty to like, I have to be upfront. ”

“I didn't really warm up to the Blanco or Reposado, but the Anjeo really impresses. Aroma: Warm oak, light vanilla, faint cherry, leather, orange zest, baking spices. A whiskey lover's delight. Taste: Strikes a solid balance and has a velvety sweetness. Cooked agave and barrel char-aged whiskey comes right through. Warm and peppery without any flaws. Finish: The cherry and floral notes stick around in the finish and slowly build. An impressive anjeo. Salud!”

“Like the blanco, I want to echo Bryce's notes. Rustic, enjoyable. well crafted and lovely bottle, but a slight knock for the value. ”

“A sweet silky reposado. Nothing offensive here, just not my cup of tea. ”

“I want to echo Bryce Taylor's notes. Live the bottle design and its a fun sipper, but a blanco at $67 takes a slight hit. Still, a fun sip.”

“Ocho's 2023 Corralillos Anjeo is similar to previous vintages. Wonderfully crisp nose with red fruits, cinnamon and nutmeg with an nice under current of cooked agave. The taste lacks a fullness or complexity, however remains balanced with a nice building heat that increases with each sip. A readily available and affordable quality anjeo. ”

“Loved this when it was made at NOM1579. Haven't tried it at 1639, but definitely under rated. A sensational blanco with great agave sweetness. ”

“LOT 2 The profile for this repo really strikes a positive chord with me. Lovely bottle design. Price ($52 USD) was fair, but not a bargain. I love Bryce Taylor's review. ”

“La Mesa 2025 Not my favorite Ocho blanco. Stong peppery notes on the aroma throw off the minerality and vegetal notes. Tast also fall a little flat compared to other years. A nice bite on the finish. ”

“No#2. Love Manuscrito's No #2, but I like No#1 a little more because the higher proof distracts a little. See Bill's Durnbaugh's review. His tasting notes mimic mine. Thanks Bill.”

“No #3 Is a another home run. Read Matt Cavaugh's review...spot on. I love the straw-hay notes that hit me in the inital aromas. The mouthfeel has everything you want; layered and light oak with coriander, pepper. A significant amount of heat. One of favorite repos. Wow.”

“This blanco is wonderful and reminds of Fuenteseca, with is one of favorite blancos. My rating reflects a slight bump on affordability. Nose: Natural and unmanipulated. Full presence of agave, lovely minerality, slight lime citrus, and white pepper. There is a flinty, almost a wet stone-esque quality. Ever so slight hints cinnamon, Jalapeño pepper, and a floral sweetness. Taste: Perfect. Medium mouthfeel. Spicy blackpepper heat and a light brine. The agave and minerality really shine. The mid palate brings out the floral, cinnamon, and citrus notes. Not overly complex, but perfect in each of its facets. Finish: Extremely long luxurious mouthfeel of agave, pepper, and hints of citrus. ”
