Odd sweet taste of cloves or something similar?... Not my thing

Sweet spice with hints of cherry and anise. Not really my thing but some would enjoy this as a dessert sipper!?!

Mexican 40% abv. version, round dumpy bottle with foil label, foil covered plastic twist cap with fun stopper, tasted on 10-6-24. Color: very light yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, light chili spiciness, light herbaceousness, light acidity, hint of citrus, hint of sourness, hint of wood note, hint of effervescence, after 20 minutes in the glass the cooked agave note becomes slightly sweet. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave, light citrus with a hint of fruity note persists.

I wouldn't buy this tequila again. Has no aroma and the aroma that is there is like paint thinner. The taste is quite thin for lack of better words. Nothing really jumps out besides a weak agave flavour and it has notes of olive brine and citrus maybe. Used it in a cocktail and all the flavours overpowered it. this reposado has no balls.
