Citrus on the nose, prominent American oak on the palate, which makes sense given the virgin barrel aging. Some floral notes on the palate
Great nose taste and finish I had this in a AMM blind so good. Tonight in a class with Grover I see it should have rated higher!!
Bottle: Lot B-0524, Bottle No. 0971 Appearance: Clear Initial thoughts… Nose: Citrus, lime, grass Palate: Cooked agave, black pepper, minerality Finish: Vanilla, cinnamon, flowers Final review pending…
Very citrus forward with brine and cinnamon and earthy tones. Very solid tequila.
Initially rated this an 84 when I first tried it. Tonight in the AMM tequila fermentation class, we let it rest for about 20 minutes before trying it, and man, it opened up flavors I didn’t taste the first time. Definitely a solid tequila, so I had to adjust my score!
Light nose with caramel, Apple and cooked agave. Great body, cooked agave is prominent on the palate. Apple, caramel, vanilla and fruit notes linger on the finish.
