Musty barrel aromas, but flavors are better with a light vanilla, orange, and cinnamon. Extra heavy tears like the blanco. Overall a thin and light flavor profile that might appeal to newbies.
Notes of agave, citrus, and pepper. Very viscous, with heavy tears cascading down the glass. Nice peppery tingle. Decent flavor, but I’m surprised how oily this is.
Nose some agave and orange lime Taste sweet agave and a lot of citrus it was nice Finish short but a nice agave
This has a similar tongue coating effect as the Blanco as well as the sheet of tears in the glass. Light aroma and taste with some pepper and spice there is not a hint of barrel bitterness in this. Many people will likely think this is a great product, I mean Heather rated it 100 and another Community rater gave it 96. This is manipulated but it is with a light touch. Reposado for the masses
Quite viscous with a ton of sweetness this doesn't leave tears on the glass, it left a sheet. I am suspicious of glycerine from the behavoir in the glass. Still, it isn't undrinkable and has a pleasant lingering finish. I think it won't be a repeat purchase though. The distillery has a brick/stone oven and copper stills but this product doesn't use those opting for low pressure autoclave and stainless steel distillation.
