Sweet, definite additives. Pleasing blanco for those who don’t want pepper, citrus flavors. Not a great spirit. Pretty bottle

From a 50ml mini. Has a bit of the Cofradia profile funk and really reminds me of the Sangre de Vida heart bottle which had similar elements. Nice punch of agave from this Blanco but that is the only element here worth mentioning. Ethanol finish that fades quickly.

The nose is green agave and something artificial. The taste is diffuser and the finish is rough for an 80 proof. Pass on this one.

Proud, dirty, scooping

You can smell and taste citrus. The spices and flavor that hits your tongue right away is great but lingered longer than I had liked. I expected a smoother finish. Perhaps I needed to let the glass sit longer prior to tasting. Overall a nice blanco. I just keep gravitating back to anejo Tequila.

Senor Rio Blanco ($55 @ Total Wine) is a mediocre blanco priced along side giants such as G4, El Tesoro, Lalo, Tequa Ocho and El Tesoros. Not a particularly great buy. I can't confirm, but I suspect addatives.

i put the reposado last and this i do suggest to be taken to Parties is Chest hair giver but a little addicting. Better than reposado but a little under the añejo in my opinion.

Mild Agave nose and flavor. Finish has some alcohol but is short. Mediocre spirit.

So, trying to understand why this rated in the 80's & above? In the nose there was a slight aroma of cooked agave that faded quickly and went to wet dog, musty smell. In the mouth: cooked agave, honey and spearmint. After 18-20 seconds in the finish, fresh agave, grass, pepper and cinnamon.

Citrus on the nose. fresh clean. Very smooth. white pepper.

Nice Blanco tequila. All around a good bye maybe a slight overpriced point however it is still a good mixer or Sipper. Classic pepper citrus and agave on the nose and palate.

Senor Rio is a tequila that would make her father proud

Senor Rio tequila is a little different. The marketing force behind it is the founders of the tequila themselves.
