“A really nice clean, fresh tequila plus the aged notes of oak, nuts, and some spice. I know there’s haters out there and yes it’s expensive, but the bottles are truly handcrafted art. I mean what else can you drink and sell the bottle for over $100 after? Overall nice to drink and a beautiful addition to any home bar. No doubt Clase Azul cares about what they’re doing and it shows. I think if not for the price it would be nearly impossible to find on shelves. ”

“Wow. So incredibly smooth. I tasted this back to back with clase azul gold and this was more citrus in aroma, mild flavor, not nearly as oak and vanilla as many anejo. It was almost more repo like. I’m guessing not aged very long or the barrels it’s aged in aren’t very old. The finish was amazing. Very clean and smooth. I enjoyed it a lot but if you like spice probably not for you. ”

“You can smell and taste citrus. The spices and flavor that hits your tongue right away is great but lingered longer than I had liked. I expected a smoother finish. Perhaps I needed to let the glass sit longer prior to tasting. Overall a nice blanco. I just keep gravitating back to anejo Tequila. ”

“Such an interesting sipping tequila. You can definitely taste all three tequilas in each glass. The finish is incredibly smooth. I wish the mix was a little stronger to the anejo. The plata does over power just a bit but I also think that’s what keeps it interesting. The oak is not very strong. I think the sherry barrel finish really comes out and a big of vanilla spice right off the bat. I love this tequila. You pay for a beautiful bottle but it really is enjoyable to drink. ”
