Caramel, American oak, vanilla and cherries. The palate is delicious with a sweet agave, vanilla, caramel and cured fruit. So way better n the palate. I think this is fantastic.

Savoring this 12-year-aged extra añejo straight from the barrel is an extraordinary experience. The profile showcases an elegant harmony, with an abundance of dried fruits, creating a rich layer that includes hints of leather, velvety textures, and a subtle yet pronounced cherry note. The infusion of elegant spices and a touch of white pepper adds a layer of complexity, making this tequila a truly refined and exceptional profile.

Lote VMEXANE2571 2021 Single Barrel NASA Store pick Aroma: demerara sugar, toasted cereal, vanilla caramel, white sage Flavor: toffee nutty added to flavors that match the aroma with some earthyness and slight dark stone fruit like bing cherry Mouthfeel: medium body with a slight numbing at the back of my throat Finish: starts sweet and finishes more mineral and earthy with a somewhat long finish Color: bright golden honey yellow This is a very good XA. I have to admit my wheel house is Blanco and Reposado though.

Wow I have been eager to try this for over a year and it does not disappoint! Agave still shines in spite of the aging and the warm fruit, maybe cherry or another stone fruit, combines with light vanilla. Finish is long and mouth feel is rich. Worth the wait!

Mine is same bottle & label but different series . It’s the 4 year one by Sergio , bottle 49 of 100, La Poblada, cask 090, March 2014-2018, 41% . Very nice XA ! Easily one of the best XA s out there . Agave still very forward plus all the other wonderful flavors of xtra aging ! So yummy !

Wow, just wow! I was really blown away by this XA. Both the nose and the taste on this are perfectly balanced and delightful. This almost reminds me of a good cognant. Cinnamon, caramel, honey, prune, cherry, and slight oak make this a special occasion sipper. If you run across this, don't hesitate in getting a bottle or two.

Huge nose, creamy, leather, dried fruits, vanilla. Even noses as if an XO Cognac or 10 year old rum. Baked agave and sweet spicy loooooong finish

It’s like rum. The smoothed tequila I’ve ever had. Shocked.

Fields: La Poblada Jal. Cask: SS 156 Aged 5 years. Bottled on may’22. Color: light yellow. Nose: sweet cooked agave! Wood and pepper spiciness, very light camphor wood and vanilla. Palate: agave sweetness at first, good sweet & sour balance, but citrus/sourness is slightly more dominant. Finish is medium to long, very nice balance of the vanilla sweetness that doesn’t overpower the agave sweetness.
