There is nothing to complain about with the flavor. It’s simple agave, but not much complexity. It’s a bit harsh on the finish.

Lends itself well to cocktail making. Lighter mouthful that dissipates quickly

Aroma - oak, sweet potato, cinnamon, apple, nutmeg, Flavor- apple, nutmeg, plantain, mineral, oak, citrus Nice texture, drinks really easy, solid sipper especially for someone new to tequila but looking to branch out a little from the typical American oak aged reposado

Nice Reposado, 6 months French oak, different than their blanco which is rested up to 14 days in American oak, light color, spice notes, light sweetness

Notes taken on 3/8/25 The aroma offered a woody tone with light cooked agave and vanilla, but was overshadowed by a scathing ethyl presence and an overwhelming floral note that felt off-putting. On the palate, I recall a blend of vanilla, floral, and sharp ethyl, accompanied by a cloying cardboard-like note, and an indistinct sweetness that left the profile feeling disjointed and blunting. Rating may change upon revisiting a bottle to fully explore.

tried this on the BAT March 2025 Note: although tmm shows aging in american oak barrels, at the distillery, we were told all Laelia expressions are aged in only french oak, even blanco rested 10 days. No american oak Laelia repo Repo in barrel 6+ months all french oak, new barrels, Color is light Nose barrel notes and spices Easy sipper. You can tell it comes from the blanco. Mildly dry but not excessive. not as bitter on the finish as the blanco. i only had a small sample. so I would like to try it again and adjust my rating accordingly if need be.

Ethanol taste - tries with ice to hopefully break it down a bit - don’t work. On the nose pick up a vanilla scent.

This is a really nice reposado made in right way. Beautiful, floral nose. Complex agave-forward with minerality and apple on the palate. Just a slightly short finish. I don’t know why the scores are low for this one
