First tasted with a group of guys after having tastes of several tequilas. This tasting was at home, CTC HP glass, no other tequila and a fresh palate. Nose has a pleasant agave aroma with vanilla and caramel. A touch of black cherry and dried fruits and honey. The first sip lets you know this is 54 ABV. Let your mouth acclimate and it is a complex bouquet on the tongue. Barrel spices, dark honey, caramel, cinnamon, a touch of olive brine. This is an excellent tequila and if you can add it to your collection, I highly recommend it

Very solid. Nose is deep and complex. Coming off the Muerto blanco, this was good but didn’t hit as hard.

Absolutely incredible. NY/NJ Agave Club hit a home run with this one. I was fortunate to try it with the club guys and Alex from Siempre which was a truly awesome experience. Amazing story behind this and a great tribute to the amazing Remy Newland. Look to the club members for their tasting notes as they picked it out, I was just honored to drink it with them!

Wow. !! The NYNJ Agave Club hit this one out of the park !! Nose is vanilla, caramel, cooked agave and dried fruit. Taste is cooked agave, caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and a little heat to finish. The glass was a Chisholm High Proof Jarrito.

The nose on this single barrel is just the beginning, cooked agave shines with excellent barrel notes. Over time, the complexity of this reposado is outstanding. The palette and finish bring cooked agave, pepper and brine. The NY/NY Agave Club always brings the best expressions, with proceeds being donated to the Gente Buena Foundation.

This is more than a single barrel, it represents everything good about this industry and community A tribute to one of tequilas greatest palates, Remy Newland and secondly proceeds going to the Gente Buena Foundation bringing fresh water, medical care and resources to the Jalisco tequila community. 54.5 ABV, there is not heat on the palate, dried fruit, baking spices, vanilla, caramel and cinnamon linger on and on. This will never be repeated. Intense flavor profile, with great complexity. One of the best tequilas I have the pleasure of sipping this year

Finally!! Great pop, the aromas coming off of this as I pour it into my glass are like nothing else I’ve had. I get vanilla, warm lemon zest, and cinnamon, caramelized sugar, barrel spice. Mouth feel is nice, not too thin On the palate, I got oak, cinnamon, black cherry, vanilla, and something like a dark plum or dried cranberry. Finish was endless!! Layered, sweet, spicy, and tart. Very complex. The makings of this bottle are amazing and I love everything this brand and club stands for.
