“Everything about this is more mellow than the blanco. I enjoyed flavors of vanilla, oak, agave and caramel on the nose. The taste includes strong flavors of agave, earthiness, alcohol, vanilla, oak and a light hint of caramel.”

“The nose is extremely defined with agave, pepper, and earthy notes. I was thinking I was detecting green pepper, but that may just be the earthiness. The finish was outstanding and must have been at least two minutes. The flavor was very alcohol-forward - coming in hot. A good blanco.”

“After tasting the blanco, my mouth was ready for disappointment. Then, the Repo acted like my Oregon Ducks in the 2012 Rose Bowl against Wisconsin: it delivered. It's a flavor bomb on the nose, led by notes of agave, caramel, chocolate, and oak. Throw in some butterscotch, and who needs dessert when you have this? The mouthfeel was much more satisfying than the blanco. No taste of chocolate, and just a hint of butterscotch, but the flavors of caramel, oak, agave, and vanilla came through (thanks aging process). The finish was solid - 50-60 seconds, which, fun fact, is longer than I can hold my breath.”

“The aroma gave me a flashback of a nice cologne. You get the upfront smells (agave, vanilla, mint) that are advertised. Then, after having time to open up in the glass, I enjoyed hints of cinnamon. Faint, but noticeable. The taste was underwhelming. Think about when you buy a really nice chocolate bar. You paid $3.50 for that sucker because you're expecting some serious quality. Yet, when you dig in, you're left wishing for more. That's how I felt here. A very thin (almost watery) mouthfeel, limited flavor notes (though, still noticeable) and a finish that left much to be desired.”
