“I got this bottle "free" at the duty free in Cabo. Should have bought something else. I honestly cannot say anything nice or complimentary about this tequila. However, it stays in my collection to give to people to show them what "bad" tequila tastes like. The flavor is an additive party with glycerin and other additives which still make this barely palatable. Please say NO to diffuser tequila. For not much more money you.can enjoy something like Olmeca Altos Reposado or El Tequileno 3 month Reposado which are solid repos made with proper processes. Not much to this really. Mild agave flavor up front at best. Little to none of those lovely caramel like flavors that some Repos have. Significant burn at the end without any nice barrel notes to make up for them. I'm not even sure if I would mix with this. Nope. It will remain a placeholder in my collection as a reminder of a time when my tequila knowledge was a lot leas than it is today. This lacks the complexities and flavors of quality tequilas around its price point all while having more burn. I guess a high point ia that my bottle is a 950 ml but that just means it will hang around longer taunting me. If you are in a store considering this tequila put down the bottle and walk away. Pick up something like Olmeca Altos, El Tequileno or Tromba for a good value Reposado instead.”

“Wow. I really like the 'standard" 3 month rested El Tequileno Reposado so I thought I would take a flier on this. Very glad I did. Initial aroma reminiscent of pears? Then a good whack of agave. Take a sip. Savor. First impreasion is how wonderful the mouth feel is. This is almost as "buttery" a mouthfeel as Azunia Organico Reposado which is heady company and a compliment. Agave flavor gives way to some caramel then more wood notes and then just the right amount of heat. Some nice peppery sense in the finish. The finish? Long stretch of flavors and sensations here. This is a sipper for sure. Sip and savor. Let it lead you on a flavor journey. A bit of a 'tweener" of sorts as this tequila is a blend of 8 month Reposado and some Anejo. I will need to make myself a flight of my favorite repos soon to see where this stacks against my other tops Reposados like Pasote, Tequila Ocho, Tapatio and others. Well worth your while to seek and sample. I do not sense any additives here. El Tequileno is a very highly regarded brand with a good reputation. Well worth your purchase dollars. This one will be a staple going forward. When my current bottle gets low I will be seeking a backup.”

“This is a good tequila; don't let the lowet scores overly influence you. Unlike the muted flavor profiles of their core line; Roca Patron is a delicious tequila. Sipping on a glass of Roca Patron Silver. This is 100% Tahona crushed, Horno cooked, charcoal filtered once instead of 3 times like in the core line, distilled in smaller copper pots and also made to a different proof. Cooked agave all day. Very prominent on the nose and in the initial palate. Not a high proof Blanco but the extra proof that is here seems to help put the agave more to the forefront. So; especially if you can find it at the right price. I like to do tequila flights from time to time and even against San Matias Tahona, Tequila Ocho, Pasote, Tapatio and other highly regarded tequilas I feel this tequila still holds up. If you can get past any "Patron" stigma that may be holding you back I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Perhaps less complex than my current favourite ”
