“Aroma: Agave & Citrus notes and get little bit of the barrel on the nose, caramel vanilla. Flavor: way different get more agave and caramel chocolate notes with pepper. Lighter on the citrus and something fruity on the backend. Nice long finish on this one. ”

“I was served this blind. Right off the nose I got strong alcohol with heavy vanilla notes. Right off the top felt artificial. On the tongue got a strong chocolate flavor kind of like those chocolate milk duds. I get it when people say it’s “smooth” but this is too sweet and unnatural for me. I get it though why some people might like it. Just not my cup of tea ”

“Trying these blind. On the nose it was very light for me. I thought it was a blanco. Got light hints of the agave and a little pepper. Once I tried it I got some barrel notes with the agave still present, nice caramel chocolate flavors with back end minerality and pepper. Felt right away it was el Tesoro. Very light easy to drank Añejo. Love the minerality in it. ”

“Blind tasted this. Had somebody choose 1 bottle out of 126. On the Aroma alone I can smell that signature Cascahuin Agave forward aroma. On the tongue it was again the agave forward with pepper, minerality, citrus and some mint. Nice long beautiful finish! Doesn’t feel like 48%, but man Cascahuin does a great job at these higher proofs. ”

“Had the opportunity to try all 3 at the same time. Batch 2 was my favorite, agave forward citrus white pepper and got something sweet like vanilla and Cinnamon on the finish. Batch 3 was runner up, agave and citrus but felt the flavors were a lot more mellow compared to batch 2, batch 1 I got agave forward with strong citrus and pepper too. Didn’t get that cinnamon finish like batch 3. Regardless really enjoyed all 3 batches and would pick up regardless of batch”

“On the nose got agave forward and then chocolate and vanilla, when I let it breath a little I got more pepper cinnamon and oak On the tongue: strong caramel vanilla chocolate flavors with the pepper and Cinnamon finish. Get hints of the agave here and there. Not a bad añejo for the price. ”
