“This is a fave among friends who come by for sampling. the additives give it a nice flavor and smooth finish. The bottle is always a draw and who doesn't like a gimmick like a bell top? The price point is a bit much but workable for the hand painted conversation piece bottle. It's a passable sipper but not for purists. ”

“The bottle alone is a great conversation piece. If you are a purist, this ain't your tequila. Very sweet with chocolate and cherry flavors overpowering the agave and barrel. The longer you allow it to sit, the more it starts to taste more like a cherry coke than a tequila. I enjoy sipping this one with my non-tequila drinking friends. The price is a bit high but not inhibitive. ”

“You can definitely tell this is a pure tequila. You can taste the oak forward and the lack of softeners will give those who desire the liquor "bite" something to look forward to though it is very subtle and is tempered with an oily feel in the mouth. Allow it to breath in your glass for a moment and the flavor profile comes through and it won't disappoint. I do think the price is a bit high, though, and probably won't restock when this bottle is gone which is a shame because it is a great tequila. ”

“This tequila is definitely NOT for purists. If you're looking for anything that remotely drinks like a traditional tequila, leave this guy on the shelf. It tastes like birthday cake and smells strong vanilla extract. There is a softener mixed in as well so it has no bite at all. This guy comes out when I have first time tasters or when I'm trying to explain additives to the newly initiated. Not a bad drink, just not tequila tequila. ”

“First sniff I get a lot of pepper and agave and that is what comes through for me on the first taste. It's very spicy but not unpleasantly so. It is surprisingly smooth on the palette and pleasant to sip for a pure reposado. This is a great pure tequila for a good price. ”
