Trujillo Tahona (NOM 1605)
“Had a minty flavor that I personally found off putting - bit some drinkers might enjoy it. To me this is not a good sipping tequila, but might be good for a mojito. ”

Pasote Añejo
“Very light in smell and flavor for an Anejo. Smell is earthy - kind of wet pavement after a rain (in a good way). Also cinnamon and some barrel char. Flavor is light caramel with a touch of barrel oak. The finish is a little thin. Overall it’s a very solid and crushable pour! NOM 1584”

Casamigos Tequila Reposado
“It’s not a bad option if you’re limited. Yes it’s additive heavy and you can tell, but it’s certainly drinkable. Honestly given the choice between this and something like Don Julio, I would choose this one. ”

“Really enjoyed this one. Great for a whiskey enthusiast that’s exploring tequila. Really nice dry fruit notes - dates and raisins. This would be great to bring and enjoy around a fire pit! ”

Tequila Ocho Reposado - Widow Jane
“This is an amazing pour. I love the sweetness, but not overly sweet. The barrel gives it a deep complexity. Not even a hint of ethanol. Perhaps the best repo I’ve ever tasted. ”
