“Honestly pretty gnarly. Bargain priced for 100% blue agave, but it has a pretty unpleasant taste. Definitely best used as a mixer with flavorful juices or something - it made my ranch waters kinda nasty. Can’t recommend it unless you need something dirt cheap for a tequila sunrise or something”

“Extremely good tequila for the price - probably the best I’ve tried so far. Super smooth with a nice well rounded flavor that mixes well. Very little bite. My only complaint is that it’s about 20% too expensive for me to drink more often, but it’s absolutely worth the price ”

“A little unremarkable flavor wise, but otherwise pretty decent. Very smooth as a shooter, and even my non-tequila drinking girlfriend liked it. Thanks Dwayne! Since using it as a mixer, it took on a strange, almost chocolatey sort of flavor? Not ideal for my usual drinks but a decent shooter overall, probably won’t be buying again ”

“Liked this one a lot more than I thought I would going off the other ratings. Really rough strong alcohol smell but a surprisingly clean (if a little medicinal) taste when mixed. Not the best you can get around $20/bottle, but it’s a strong choice for a mixer in my book”

“Surprisingly mellow smell outside of the strong alcohol, but a very peppery flavor and not much else. Could do worse for a mixing tequila, but you could also do a whole lot better. Not even close to dethroning Lunazul as my go to bottle under $25 though. ”

“Not typically big on reposados but thought I’d try it. Definitely wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. Really prominent alcohol smell and taste that stood out in mixed drinks, although it had a relatively smooth finish (I assume because of the aging). Had way too much pepper for my personal taste and, when used as a mixer, didn’t really complement anything especially well. I found a box set for $23 with 2 engraved shot glasses and decided to try it, so in my specific circumstance it was a good value. Worth trying, but I won’t buy again.”

“Fine enough for a middle-shelf and readily available bottle. Tastes better than it smells, and it mixes decently. Probably won’t be buying again, but for grabbing it on sale at $24, it’s decent”

“Truly gross stuff, but it got me through college. I guess there’s probably worse out there, since it seems to be a staple of (cheap) Mexican restaurant margaritas and tequila sunrises with this are typically semi drinkable. Only recommended if you absolutely need a handle for $20 for whatever reason.”

“Bought as my first 100% agave, basically because I just wanted some tequila for the first time in a while and decided to ball out for a birthday (it was $23, lol). I remember it being somewhat harsh, with more pepper than I prefer. Not terrible, but there are much better options in the price range. Probably won’t buy it again, but it was the first one to make me realize that I actually like this stuff. Cool bottle though!”

“Not good - mistakenly bought it to mix with pineapple juice not realizing it was a mixto. Gave me the gnarliest hangover and weirdly made the juice taste like bananas? Not the worst I’ve ever had, but I definitely won’t be buying it again and would strongly advocate for spending a little more on something tastier.”

“A surprisingly solid mixing tequila from Walmart - on par price-wise with the other cheapest 100% agave options at my local store. Overall unremarkable flavor but very little wrong with it, definitely a good option on the cheap. My gateway to better tequila after I got burned on some cheap sauza!”

“A pretty nice mixing tequila for the price - very smooth without much bite and definitely a good value for $25. A little unremarkable but overall pretty solid. Gotta give it some points for the cool bottle too, really classes up the home bar!”

“My favorite mixing tequila - it’s affordable, fairly smooth, and blends really well in most cocktails. Especially in a margarita or ranch water, this is a great one for the price”
