“Slightly light aroma but very agave forward. Immediate hit of pepper with a little smoke and citrus. Finish has a little alcohol but still smooth. Some great juice and would recommend ”

“Maybe be one of the best tequilas I’ve ever had. Just a unique blend of agave, citrus and minerals. If you can find a bottle at msrp buy it ”

“As a lot of reviews mention it is not a sipper but it is great for margaritas. I always manage to snag a few bottles when my local discount chain puts it on sale. Has that heat I think you need for margaritas but a vanilla aroma and finish. ”

“Managed to score a reasonably priced glass of this when a local Mexican cantina recently got it in but has a deal for half price pours on tequila, even top shelf. WOW! Maybe the best glass of tequila I’ve ever had for so many reasons. I think the only word I can use is complex. The nose is sweet with an oaky finish, with notes of dry fruit, caramel and vanilla. The taste is of cooked agave but it does have an oak start likely from the scotch barrels, then it almost switched to a sweet mid of fig/raisin, vanilla/butterscotch and finish is dry and buttery smooth which just a slight bit of pepper. It truly does linger on your pallet. Happy to have the chance to try without having to buy a bottle. ”

“Sweet nose with cooked agave, baking spices, cinnamon, vanilla with a touch of oak. Nose carries very well into the flavor with the agave being the star, with oak, caramel and little peppery on the finish. As with most juice from Ocho this is a great sipper to share with friends ”

“Nose is caramel, agave and baking spices. I found the taste to be very barrel heavy which generally mellows out the finish in my experience but not this one. It has a heavy char and spicy finish. Well it was not my favorite, I still feel it is a solid anejo when given the price. ”

“I get sweet agave on the nose, with some caramel. For taste I get some oak, vanilla, agave. Finish is mellow for those that like that and is very drinkable. For the price this is a great tequila ”

“I bought this on sale at a local store planned to use it in a margarita but quickly realized it was too good for that. While for the price it will work in a marg, it really is too smooth for a margarita, making it a great budget sipper. ”
