  • 63 Rating

Not complex and super sweet

  • 65 Rating

Rating this from past sipping experience, this like many other chemically engineered tequilas make a great gateway into the hoppy.

  • 73 Rating

Medium sweet aroma. Taste is unusually sweet with pepper with some alcohol. Lots of barrel on the taste and finish. Almost like a cross of a dark rum with some tequila. Not much agave going on.

  • 78 Rating

Yet another sweet profile but I’m really digging this, it pulls up short of going overboard and lands in a great balance. Not really tons of agave to write home about but a nice spirit.

  • 76 Rating

Aroma of caramel and vanilla and the same for the taste except has a lot of vanilla finish.

  • 77 Rating

Some vanilla going on and not terrible but I like many others more.

  • 90 Rating

Better served chilled or over ice.

  • 77 Rating

Warm finish, good flavor

  • 88 Rating

Te Reposado is my favorite Cava de Oro tequila. It is the most balanced flavor, with good caramel and oak notes without overpowering the agave aroma and flavor. I love to sip this tequila. I would not use for cocktails.

Taller round bottle, 1L, 38% abv. No marbete, LOTE PH0090805. Red plastic twist cap with fun stopper. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light vanilla, slightly herbaceous, earthy. Good sweet & sour balance. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, it has an enjoyable sweetness with light spiciness at the end. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave with light vanilla notes & earthy sensation persist.

Beautiful bottle with a fun last sip in the stopper! Smells very nice and sweet, almost like baked cookie. Love to smell it but it is almost disgustingly sweet. Definitely regret the purchase, as it’s not cheap. I’ll finish the bottle and enjoy the wonderful nose, but I won’t be buying again. I’m sure some people will enjoy the syrup but not my cup o tea.

Aroma is agave and honey Taste is fruity, agave and caramel Finish is medium and smooth

  • 85 Rating

Spicy, smooth, cinnamon

  • 50 Rating

Definitely some orange, vanilla aftertaste

  • 59 Rating

So much fake vanilla additive flavoring!

  • 72 Rating

Nose is just cooked agave and brown sugar. Taste is overly sweet for a reposado. Very little complexity. Minor notes of spice but mainly just sugary agave syrup. Not a bad tasting tequila for non tequila lovers but not one I would buy again.

  • 78 Rating

Aroma: Strong agave for a reposado, citrus(lemon?), subtle vanilla. Flavour: Caramel, vanilla, cooked agave. Very smooth. Finish: Dry, lingering agave. Could be a crowd pleaser, slightly over sweet.

  • 78 Rating

Just a quick note, the bottle I have states 40 percent alcohol not 38 percent.

  • 58 Rating

The awful sugar water now has some better marginally better aromas and flavors, but this is still god awful.

  • 74 Rating

Very sweet. Lots of sugar. Caramel. Very round, lingering finish.
