We selected 10 high-quality organic blancos, all from different distilleries, to see how they compared when tasted blind by 22 members of our tasting panel.
NOM 1646 | Aroma is cooked and raw agave, black pepper, lime citrus, vegetal green notes from the raw agave. Flavor is cooked agave, honey, citrus, minerality, vegetal notes like asparagus. I think this is a solid blanco option and a bottle that can really bridge the gap for people coming over to better quality tequila from mass produced brands. I also like that all the flavors are very present but it doesn’t overwhelm the senses which jus furthers the idea that this is a great bottle for folks looking to try some good stuff and have a nice looking bottle on the bar at home.
