Blind tasting with AMM: This was a well balanced blanco with a nice mix of brightness and savory character. On the nose, cooked agave leads the way, followed by black pepper and a fresh citrus note. There’s a vegetal backbone that keeps it grounded, while brine and minerals add a subtle salty, coastal edge. On the palate, the cooked agave carries through clearly, supported by black pepper and citrus for a bit of lift. The brine becomes more noticeable here, paired with a distinct olive note that adds depth and a savory twist. Minerality ties it all together and gives it a clean, structured feel. The finish is medium in length, leaving behind a balanced mix of agave, citrus, and light salinity. Overall, this is a clean, savory leaning blanco with good balance and an easy drinking profile that still has enough character to keep it interesting.

Tasted blind. The first sniff of this was amazing with citrus agave, and perhaps a little banana. Flavor had grapefruit, some sweetness and general light fruitiness finish was minty mildy spicy with some fruit. Tasty.

Blind tasting via AMM: Tart aroma with a slight vinegar twang. Flavor is very fruity and reminds me of Juicy Fruit gum. Nice medium tingly finish.

On the nose, cheese! Another lovely lactic nose on this particular sample. I happen to love cheesey tequila, so I’m not complaining. Underneath the cheese balls is a beautiful perfume component with pickled fruit basket. On the palate is savory fruits(some pickled), melon, grape, cantaloupe, overripe strawberries, apples on the verge of spoil(but nice), pepper, yeasty, musty, pickled flowers(is that a thing?), minerality, cactus candy, guava… This is wonderful

Vessel: CT Jarrito Nose: Earth, Grass, Minerality, Agave Flavor: Pepper, Agave, Anise, Citrus Finish: Minerality, Earth, Vanilla, Black Pepper, Agave I got that classic 1579 profile, but this one felt a bit muted to me comparatively. This one had the minerality, but I think that the Earthy notes for me took away from some of those 1579 notes that I particularly appreciate. Nonetheless, this is a well-made blanco, for the tequila drinker that prefers earthier notes, this may be the one!

Candied cashews? Almost has a kraft peanut butter quality to it. Sweet flavour, not too sharp for a blanco at all, buttery smooth finish. A great blanco for a person who doesnt love or go for blancos.
