I’ve had blancos that are much sweeter, but this one goes in a different direction. The minerality really stood out for me from the first sip and became even more noticeable after it had a few minutes in the glass. The agave is still there, just not competing for attention. The higher proof adds texture without overpowering the flavors, making it easy to sip despite the extra ABV. I found myself coming back to the glass because every sip seemed to reveal a little more. If you enjoy mineral-driven blancos with a clean, peppery finish, this one is definitely worth trying.

Lovely fruity aroma with orange, oak, caramel, and cloves. Flavors of stewed apples, oranges, cinnamon, oak, and caramel. Finish has a lingering black pepper zing with a touch of smoky oak. It’s barrel forward but full of flavor. For under $50 this is approachable for dark añejo lovers.

Sampled at Binny’s All Things Agave, June 2026. Very soft profile, easy drinker. Decent price point at 39.99 by me.

NOM 1588. Lots of orange with oak, vanilla and carmel on the nose. I get tons of orange up front on the taste which is awesome. Followed up with agave, oak, cinnamon, other fruit notes and a slight pepper finish. Awesome value at 37.99 in IL.

NOM: 1588 Aromas: baking spices, toasted almonds, candied yams, oak, cedar, warm orange Flavor: orange notes, dried apple notes, Finish: sort of falls flat but does have a nice linger that reminds me of sweet potatoes. Great price at $50.
