“I have compared the 2020 and the 2018 side by side twice now. Once when I first opened the 2020 and again after about a month of it being open. The 2020 has an amazing nose of agave, pepper, citrus, and cinnamon, with some brine. Such a buttery mouthfeel with mega agave on the palate with earth, cinnamon, citrus, pepper, and some light fruit notes with a touch of honey on the finish. I love the 2018 and never thought anything would top it but the 2020 does with its more intense flavor and complexity. So worth seeking out, or dont and save it for me!”

“Agave y mas agave on the nose with pepper, minerals and citrus. The agave shines front and center on taste just like the rest of the ocho line! It also has a nice balanced citrus and earthy taste with a blast of pepper on the finish. Such a good value!”

“The best of the Chamucos line in my opinion! Very nice packaging and presentation. Nice color and legs in the glass. Oak, vanilla, fruit and agave on the nose. Delicious agave that is maintained along side fruit notes that I love in a tequila. It has some pepper, oak and caramel. The finish has the Chamucos funk that is present in the blanco with a nice fruit fade. Seek this one out!”

“Very nice tequila from Tau. Nice oak, caramel, vanilla and agave nose. Quite oak forward on the taste due to the extended barrel time. Touches of fruit and caramel with a nice spice finish. Love the higher proof and comes in a very nice box. ”

“First time I tried this Tequila was at the distillery in September 2024 and I was having so much fun I forgot to rate it. It is agave, pepper, citrus and vanilla on the nose. Much of the same on the taste with a touch of minerals and honey followed by some oak and earth. Pepper finish.”

“Not as offensive as the silver but still un godly awful. The plastic medicinal smell is still there. Slight fake sugar taste and finish. This is the result of making tequila with all the wrong processes. I dont typically give Un drinkable ratings but this is just that.”

“This is almost like tequila flavored nail polish. Nose is medicinal raw agave. Taste has little to no agave with an astringent alcohol flavor. Plastic like finish. Not even good as a mixer. ”

“I dig the Chamucos line! NOM 1586. Agave, pepper, minerals and a punch of cheese on the nose. The taste has a bit of complexity to it with agave, citrus, pepper, minerals, earthiness and hot cinnamon with some alcohol. Does not drink like 55%. Nice mouthfeel. Finish has some brine that goes well with the profile. ”

“Lote 01 Ano 2024. Outstanding blanco! Tons of agave and earthy cinnamon on the nose. In your face agave taste with citrus and pepper. Long finish leaving a nice flavor behind. Has everything I want in a blanco. My favorite from El Pandillo so far!”

“AMM Blind. I wanted badly to edit this one after locking in my answers. This has a strong minty, alcohol aroma with a bit of agave left. The taste is better than the smell for myself. The taste has quite a bit of fruit (fake), the mint is still strongly there with anise, mineral and some agave. It leaves a light fruit finish that is medicinal.”

“NOM 1122. Very sweet smell with alcohol. Almost like sweet tea. Taste is sugary, vanilla, cake. Sure sign of manipulation. Very thin mouthfeel. This Reposado drinks like a bad extra anjeo. Not my thing.”

“Tasted right after the Yeyo Sol. I am usually not a huge fan of wine aged tequilas but this one is pleasant. Peaches and cinnamon on taste. A bit thin with a fruit finish.”

“Dia De Los Muertos 1. Bottle #3445. Apple cider on the nose that is very inviting. Some cinnamon and spice as well. On the taste is apple first followed by the agave and cinnamon with a nice citrus finish. I like what they did with this one.”
