Nice grassy/agave notes on nose & pallet, very herbal/vegetal, smells spicy/minerality, like a classic tequila should, agave there, hints of cinnamon, great sipper for price & in general
First rating: 89 Apr-2025 (Blind Rating: 90) May-2025 Original notes below: The neck crack aroma oozes with petrichor, anise and hay that I wallow in. There is a prominent note of lime citrus, with miniscule brine, ethyl, blanketed with an organic waxiness that makes me think of plant matter, perhaps it is the aroma of fresh agave with a bit of tang and cinnamon. The taste is straightforward with Agave, distinct cinnamon, petrichor, anise, nuttiness, lime/orange citrus, black pepper, prune, slight dill, mint with an herbal quality. A bit of sweet tanginess linger on the tongue with a vegetal note while the other flavor compositions are fleeting and thin. I can appreciate that trailing ethyl isn’t prominent for me in the finish as well
From TMM Blind Panel: Aromas: Cooked agave, cheese, cherry, orange, wet cement Flavor: Pepper, vegetal, grass, anise. Finish: It finishes pretty short. Stays balanced but disperses quickly. Tannic. I’d mix a drink with this but wouldn’t be interested in sipping it. It doesn’t stand out in any big ways.
Blind TMM tasting: Sweet agave, flowers, grass. This one has a nice medium finish.
Cooked agave, herbal, minerality, and a hint of mint and earthiness on the nose. Herbs and minerals on the palate. The flavor is pleasant, but very light. Similarly, the finish is pleasant, but other than some light pepper, it doesn’t linger too long.

Aroma is very bright and citrus forward with minerality, cooked agave, chili pepper, cardamom, and a hint of almond. Flavor is also very bright but more on the earthy mineral side. It’s a dry dusty earthy quality along with some lemon zest. There’s a slight vegetal quality as well that lingers a touch. This is a really nice supper. Easy to drink. Almost no burn. I could also see it being very nice in a cocktail.
