Bottle: AMM’s First Blind Tasting of 2026, Bottle #7 Appearance: Clear Nose: Cooked agave, citrus, lemon, tropical fruit, pineapple, coconut, vanilla, herbal, lemongrass, anise, minerality, wet cement, wood shavings, pine cone, mineral oil, and slight acetone…really nice for the most part, but just a tiny bit off Palate: Cooked agave, black pepper, dry earth, brine/salinity, olive, black tea, lemon, minerality, and alcohol…fairly constrained in terms of complexity compared to the nose, and quite a bit less balanced (leaning towards heat) Finish: Black pepper, black tea, lemon, and alcohol…long and tongue-numbing with an oily viscosity My blind score: 82 Panelist average blind score: 84.125 Difference: -2.125 Overall: In the past, I’ve found some blancos lightly aged in wine barrels to pick up more acidity/tannins than

Blind tasting with AMM: This was a solid, well balanced blanco with a slightly savory edge and a clean, mineral-driven profile. On the nose, cooked agave leads the way, followed by black pepper and a vegetal backbone. Citrus adds some brightness, while brine and minerals give it a subtle savory, coastal feel. On the palate, the cooked agave carries through clearly, supported by black pepper and vegetal notes. The brine becomes a bit more noticeable here, adding a nice salty contrast, while the minerality gives it structure and a clean, grounded character. The finish is medium in length, leaving behind a balanced mix of agave, pepper, and light salinity. Overall, this is a straightforward but enjoyable blanco with a nice balance of brightness and savory notes, making it an easy and satisfying sip.

Tasted Blind. Aroma was vegetal salinity with cola fizz. Easy going black pepper flavor with a little heat. More pepper and bottle caps candy in the finish. This is an easy starter Tequila to get someone interested

Blind tasting via AMM: Sweet agave and fruity plums on the aroma. Flavors of agave, citrus rind, and pepper. Mouthfeel is very creamy—a little too much for my preference.

Presents sweet & fruity on the nose with apple, grape, citrus marmalade, pepper, overripe agave, and a lactic punch. Big kiwi opening on the palate with more of the fruits detected on the nose - apple, grape, strawberry, and citrus candy. Throw some basil & rosemary on top of your fruity bouquet, quite complex this one. There is a nice peppery base here that carries through to the finish with that delicious lactic component that I’m a sucker for; somewhere between Greek yogurt and blue cheese.

• Visual: Thin viscosity. Clear with clear thin edge. • Initial Nasal Impact: Warming and sour. • Aroma: Apple cider vinegar, honeysuckle, earthy, white pepper in background. • Mouthfeel: Dry, chalky and thin with sufficient. • Flavor: Chalk, earth, lemon zest, green apple, honeysuckle, cinnamon. • Finish: Medium/long and drying with alcohol buzz on the tongue. Green apple, chalk with appearing honey on the retro nasal.
