Monterey Tequila and Mezcal Festival: As far as taste goes I distinctly recall this blanco being sweeter than I would have imagined. In the moment of tasting, I did not discern any noticeable flavors besides sweetness.
Suavecito Anejo Sample from Mark Czerwonka NOM 1424 Nose: at first i got pineapple, then vanilla caramel and some floral notes, barrel notes and some mint kicked in for a second, followed by a mild alcohol Palate: Very sweet like honey and brown sugar sweet! Note: I do my reviews before I look at the production methods/notes. So i realize the sweetness I tasted was the agave nectar. Finish: flat finish and a bit of a weird aftertaste. Overall: i think this might appeal to newbies who like a smooth, sweet tasting tequila
barrel forward on aroma and flavor, with a very sweet flavor profile. Sweetness comes from added agave nectar. 35% ABV. Advertised as the "smoothest" tequila. Those two last points is why I it doesn't fit my palate. Maybe OK as an introductory tequila
Very sweet with lots of vanilla
Monterey Tequila and Mezcal Festival: Sweet, sweet and too sweet for me. I truly wanted to spit it out and couldn’t finish my glass. I couldn’t be bothered to try and decipher any aromas and flavors because I died inside.
