Cask Strength | Apricot, toasted caramel, leather, clove. The overproof delivers a nice finish. This one is a blend of 3, 4, and 5 yr XAs bottled at 88.8 proof cask strength. Very good.

The pepper builds steadily as bitter citrus pith adds bite and balance. Vegetal tones stay present, with a faint vanilla rounding things out. Finish: Slightly bitter with grapefruit pith and white pepper that hangs on. The agave remains steady through the finish, giving it a dry, peppery close. Final Thoughts: If you enjoy a bit of funk, this one stands out. It’s distinctive, well priced, and easy to appreciate once you settle into its mix of cream, pepper, and citrus. I like it a lot.
