A really delicious Anejo that I look forward to spending more time with. I’d love to see them release this in a number 9.

I loved this Rosa and it might be my favorite of all the Cazcanes Rosa releases. The wine influence along with the four roses bourbon really compliment each other well. It’s one of those dangerous bottles that you could end up finishing really quick if you aren’t careful! I love all the stone fruit and barrel influence along with the agave still coming though. Peach and apricot really stood out to me while also having a nice touch of minerality. There was also some chocolate bitterness and earthiness. It’s a melting pot of flavors that work so well together.

It feels like something's going on with Cazcanes, and I'm not just saying this (they aren't paying me), but I am noticing a trend. The last few new releases from them are just awesome, and this one is no different. This one could be the best thing I've had from them so far, and I know that's what I said about the last one. I'm getting distinct dried fruit, oak, earth, dried cherry, butter and minerals on the aroma. It has fun layers of complexity to explore. Definitely has a wine influence on the nose. (Scarlet says she also gets petrichor, but I can't pick it up.) The flavor also has dried fruit, earth, and oak, but I'm also getting melon. This has a nice balance that makes me want to keep drinking it. Kinda dangerous. If you see this in the wild, grab it. There's not a lot of it, from what I understand. Message to the brand: You guys appear to be hitting your groove -- keep it up!

Fantastic from start to finish.

Smooth, slightly sweet with lots of agave flavor. Subtle and very smooth finish with just a hint of heat.
