Peligroso Añejo Tequila
“Too light for an añejo, seems like a reposado. It has interesting notes of vainilla, caramel, spices. Diffuser tequila, no thanks. ”

Clase Azul Reposado
“Overpriced reposado but because of the cost of the bottle. Too sweet, definitely something scary sweet. Great reposado for those who love the show stopper bottles, at the nightlife scene here locally (before Covid) this was always the parade tequila you’ll see but since we are not here to show off bottles I will stick to other reposados to sip.”

Avión Silver
“Avión owned now 100% by Pernod Ricard is made on a micro distillery inside the distillery at NOM 1416 where other brands are made. A highland agave tequila gets all the typical characteristics of a highland tequila similar to what you would find on Olmeca Altos which is also owned by Pernod Ricard. Good for mixing cocktails. ”

Casa Noble Crystal
“Definitely for mixing, not sipping. It has an over burning sensation on the after taste. Don’t understand why the triple distillation. ”

Casa Dragones Tequila Blanco
“Bubblegum, fake fruit on the nose. Taste still fake, probably because of the diffuser method. After taste some peppery but fades away. Nice presentation, trend created by celebs, package and priced for a certain target that definitely doesn’t drink tequila.”

Teremana Tequila Blanco
“Interesting, lots of citrus, grapefruit on the nose but big alcohol on the taste. Definitely priced for mixing, burning after taste if sipped alone. At this price point for a tequila that’s made on a single distillery, certified gluten free and kosher, claiming to be small batch, cooked in hornos and distilled on copper stills, definitely a bargain. ”
