“Nom 1438 (additive added ) Got This on 50% discount at VABC and it was so good I went back and got another. Yes this Nom is most likely an additive tequila with agave syrup but damn if it isn’t delicious. The newer Nom is additive free, but the San Fran Double Gold went to this one. A person on Reddit called the aroma “vanilla cakebatter” and damn if it wasn’t perfectly spot on. This is a delicious drink that you can serve to your friends. This reminds me of Clase Azul Respo but better. It’s a dessert pour. Enjoy it as such. A delicious digestive. Now for purists I have great bottles of G4, Tequileno Plata, and Teq ocho on my bar as staples. There shall never be anymore nom 1438 .. oh well”

“The nose has a wet umami funk to it(bottle has been open for two months) .Taste wise you get a white pepper, green banana, stewed agave, sweet bread, and wet moss. It’s super smooth and very unique. I will buy the resposado next. ”

“This is a Delicious blanco tequila that I got for my wedding along with Siete Leguas blanco. I preferred this blanco and took a bottle home from the left overs over Siete Leguas. This blanco is very smooth and Can easily be drunk neat straight from the bottle just like Siete Leguas. Hard to get in the states and only procured it in Querétaro Mexico. I believe that Fortaleza Blanco is a little more complex but if you give this tequila time to rest in a glass then you’ll get a lot more complexity than you would if you drink it right away. ”

“Reminds me a bit of Baluarte Resposado but thinner in viscosity with more alcohol burn. Aroma has cinnamon, vanilla, sweet cream, hazelnut, ethanol vapors. Taste adds chocolate custard, alcohol burn and tingly gums when swishing it around the palate. Took a chance and over paid. I liked the Blanco, reminded me of a mix of Clase Azul resposado and Don Julio 70 but a bit thinner. ”

“Heavy honeyed oak, roasted agave, smoke, cinnamon, vanilla cream, vegetal earth, subtle clove spice, and white pepper. Taste follows the nose with a bit of black cherry bubblegum on the back palate. Great long finish, very smooth with medium viscosity. Very interesting but not worth the coin. Got it as a gift and will break it out to make friends smile.”

“Amazing bouquet. Cinnamon, clove, all spice, roasted honey agave, vanilla wafer, finishing with a black pepper subtle punch. The taste follows the nose. The closest I have tasted to this is Aha Toro Anejo. Tasting this next to Jose Cuervo De La Famila Extra Anejo and would take this every time. Try before you buy. ”
