“for something that is made at 1123 you can clearly tell that this is altered. sweet and not much agave left. 35 is a decent mixer price but hard to sip”

“Although very expensive MSRP, this is a great dram. super creamy viscosity, the nuttiness from the bookers 30th Casks come through and this is an agave bomb. lingering finish. really nice pour. At $450 this is a special occasion dram. But, with the current prices and secondary prices on the older anniversary releases, this isn't that bad of a value. ”

“Store Pick From Nana Kitchen 10yr at 46% Some might think this is over oaked, but for a 10yr Xa this is money, and considering it was around $165, it is a great value. Brown sugar, cooked agave, molasses, vanilla, caramel, some heat a very nice dram”

“Nose: After Opening this is STRONG! Mainly acetone and whiskey notes out of the bottle. After stilling in the glass for 10 minutes the acetone fades almost completely. Nose turns to whiskey barrels with butterscotch and Carmel. Flavor: very barrel heavy. Whisky butterscotch, Carmel little vanilla, alcohol. Finish was very short after trying right out of the bottle. After sitting in the glass more complex with butterscotch, Carmel vanilla. ”

“on the nose was hopeful. got some agave and alcohol. that's pretty much it, but hoped it would taste like a high proof... tasted like paint thinner and alcohol pretty terrible. Finsh was just as bad with a lingering citrus”

“Rating for 2016 Rittenhouse Rye. I preferred this to the 2015. The 45% on the Rittenhouse Rye (90proof) bumps this up a notch, and also the flavor is more complex than the 2015, lasting longer on the pallet”
