“cheese, lactic aroma from start, nothing bad, tangly medium finish feels watery on the palate w light alcohol ... I don't know , I need to revisit I'm suspicious this is one of those tequilas that will open up and get better with time. ”

“I got this at a friend's house because there was no other choice and honestly don't drink beer. I am opposed to this thing be called tequila since no Agave is detected at all in aroma or taste, it was horrible, watery, overly vanilla and caramel sweet, smells artificial , on the palate all I could perceive was some sort of sweet water , almost no alcohol and of course zero agave , terrible.”

“NOM 1580 - sometimes I like to explore and buy non-hype brands, with a little research I ran into herencia mexicana, it is just Woow , what a nice surprise, aroma is citrus fresh, peppery and lemon with tons of agave, flavor is agave upfront, mild mint with little alcohol and tingle, viscous mouth feel, medium finish, very very enjoyable. You can easily relate to El Tesoro blanco.”

“very different profile, strong cognac and oak influence but it can be a nice sipper once you get used to the bolder flavor. there's alcohol in the mid palate that lingers through the finish which is not necessarily a bad thing but personally I do not prefer.”

“One of my favorite repos from El Pandillo, it is very well balanced and it represents every outstanding characteristic of El Pandillo, the outcome of Don Vicente profile is exceptional. ”

“Aroma is agave and white pepper with very light oak and vanilla, on the palate the pepper overpowers all other notes, although you can still detect the Pandillo DNA, it is too peppery and annoying.”

“this is a great Blanco, ocasional sipper and better mixer. on the nose is cooked agave and citrus, lemon, cero alcohol fumes which is nice. on the palate is somewhat oily and agave upfront, notes of cinnamon and very light burn. great value for the money , for that reason I added extra points to my rating.”

“this is a great option for mixing, I get lots of agave, while tasting neat there isn't anything unpleasant about it, let it open up to improve, short finish but great value overall.”

“this is a very different experience, aroma is leather, caramel, vanilla, if good aged tequila turns out like this....I am into this type of aging and technique, very enjoyable, supreme. I am surprised almost nobody detected leather on the aroma which is predominant.”

“very well composed añejo, on the nose is mild oak, light mineral and earthy, the agave is quite present, notes of vanilla and ripe fruit. The sweetness, earthiness, agave and oak are in harmony, no alcohol is noticed at all, no fumes. On the palate there is agave, caramel and vanilla, medium warm finish, not as thick on the mouth very enjoyable to drink , another good gem of 1579. ”

“I bought this tequila about a year ago, the elegant bottle caught my eye so I decided to try it. Boring tequila nothing came out in terms of character, lots of alcohol fumes, taste is peppery, alcohol and minty, smell reminds me of a damp sock. Drank the usual pours one night (I was on vacation and did not have other tequilas handy) and gave me the worst headache the next day, this never happens with my other traditional made tequilas. Tierra Noble probably has some bad alcohols, leaves heads and tails maybe ? and God knows what else is in there. Although the price is good, don't waste your money.”

“this was a hidden gem for me , I had to revisit for a 3rd time after tasting other big name brands. while sipping It unfolded this is agave front and center , aroma is herbal, citrusy, light mineral, somewhat complex on the palate with notes I am not able to decipher but very enjoyable, medium finish.”

“too sweet, this is very different from their other expressions , this añejo with all of its sweet flavors is so overpowering, añejos in general are missing out on the agave soul. If you are a true tequila drinker, stick to good blancos. I did not enjoy this expression of tequileño as much as their repos or blancos. Update: this one grew on me, it is a good añejo with all the authentic tequila character despite its sweetness, I will definitely pick it up on occasions depending on the weather and mood.”

“on the palate is oily but have you tried tapatio blanco or el tesoro ? in aroma it is pretty much the same very very similar so I went ahead and tried them side by side and flavor is similar as well, besides the viscous finish taste is very vegetal and pure cooked agave, very solid Blanco.”

“this is the core of tequilas, agave from start to finish, aroma is cero alcohol, pure agave, herbal. taste is thick , oily agave and smooth, when you taste around your palate, it feels like you almost want to chew it, long finish leaving a pleasant mouth coating. ”

“One of the best blancos for me, aroma is delicious if you like nature ! great taste, mineral and earthy, rain water, wet leaves, well balanced, it's oily, nice mouth coating , lots of agave aftertaste, as it continues to open up and you continue sipping it, it only gets better , those amazing flavors that just linger.”

“This one climbed the charts of reposados for me, aroma and flavor is very vintage , not in an aged way , vintage meaning of how good tequila used to taste in the 90's just agave forward without the bells and whistles we see today. Great agave aftertaste, pleasant to drink , on the nose is slightly sweet, buttery, cooked agave , oak, mild heat, as it opens up it only gets better. Great value , this one is the living proof that good tequila doesn't always have to be expensive or come in a nice cute bottle. This repo made my top 5, great juice. ”

“this is one of those tequilas that look amazing on paper , great tequila making process but overall there's something I did not enjoy. on the nose you can detect herbal notes grass , mineral but barely any agave, also detected something odd like chemical kind of rubber smell and taste... bad bottle perhaps ? synthetic cork issues ? (batch: B420121) , flavor is complex, short alcohol finish, conclussion: it was a little pleasant to sip it burns while going down same characteristic of cheap tequilas , not sure if revisiting would help. ”
