“Way over priced. It's not the worst tequila you can buy though. It's sweet and largely uninteresting. Pepper and sweetness, not much more. It's ok in mixed drinks, but it gets a bit lost and doesn't bring much that's interesting. For the price you can definitely do better. ”

LALO Tequila Blanco

“Not bad, but not great. It's just not that interesting to me. At least the taste feels clean and you can tell it's not artificially manipulated. At the same time it's a little uninteresting. It doesn't work in a margarita. It's more enjoyable in a paloma. You can sip it easily, but is it a go to that I'd buy again and again. No. Don Julio is a good bet for a margarita which means you return time and again even if its not amazing for sipping. Unfortunately this project isn't good enough for me.”

Casamigos Tequila Añejo

“No... just awful. There blanco is as good as it gets and that's not saying much. At least the blanco makes a decent margarita. What can you do with this stuff? It's undrinkable to me. I put it in a paloma and it doesn't ruin it entirely, but I'd rather use something else. Never again. There's too much good tequila out there to waste money on this. ”

Tequila G4 Reposado

“I really like this stuff. It's got some interesting flavor to it. I taste cucumber notes which is unusual and not in other tequila I've tried. That's a good thing in my opinion. It's not a very sweet tequila. Lots of good agave flavor as well. It even works in mixed drinks. I especially like it in a paloma.”

Curado Tequila Blanco (Cupreata)

“I was skeptical about this one but got it on sale for forty dollars. Let me just say that after one sip my skepticism immediately disappeared. This stuff is amazing. It’s bursting with interesting flavors and none of the artificial tequila nonsense. It's even got some smokiness to it. That fades into the background quickly though and the agave shines through. It is a little sweeter than many additive free tequilas but not overly so. I'm already contemplating buying some more... it's that good. ”

Clase Azul Reposado

“This is about as sweet and artificial as I can handle. It's dominated by sweet cinnamon flavors. I can only drink a little. The bottle is beautiful. I bought it for it for one hundred and thirty on sale and even at that price I regret it. Never again. At least it's not undrinkable, but it's not something I'd ever buy again. ”

Don Julio Primavera

“It's sweet and delicious. From what I recall It's definitely sweeter than their standard reposado offering. Nothing like clase azul reposado artificial sweet though. Don Julio always does good stuff with addatives where other brands seem to fail. It has much of the classic Don Julio flavor profile with a hint of the citrus and maybe a little more vanilla and pepper than usual. Is it worth the money? Perhaps not at one hundred dollars. I got it at eighty and even then I'm unsure if it is worth it over the standard reposado or other additive free offerings. Glad I could try it though. ”
