Artificial tequila. I know this gets a lot of hype from the masses (non craft tequila folks) but it is overly sweet and too vanilla tasting

Aroma is okay. Initial taste was okay but as I took a few more sips the rubbery astringent taste starts to blend in. Not completely awful but not with the money for a full bottle.

Aroma is dominated by alcohol and a strange rubber/asphalt note (not good). There may be some orange/citrus but it is largely hidden. [With time (10 mins) the alcohol in the aroma settles down a bit and caramel is noticeable. But, the rubber/asphalt is still there.] Flavor is sweet from caramel and fruit with a bit of heat coming at the end. Also, a little of that rubbery off note shows up also. Finish is short and nothing about this tequila really lasts. For the price, definitely not worth buying. 09-21-2022

What the hell were they thinking?! This crap is horrible! Notes or cardboard and hand sanitizer! Furthur añejo from NOM 1414 got it right with the orange cask aging and is damn delicious! DJ primavera is undrinkable for me.

Surprisingly balanced, a light heavy on the mouth feel for an 8 month aged Repo. Definitely taste orange, caramel, slight cooked agave. Nice package, would score higher if not for the price. First impressions, I prefer this over their 1942 Anejo

The aroma presents a balanced profile, featuring subtle notes of orange that dance along with a delicate hint of vanilla. Unfortunately, the taste leaves much to be desired; it carries an unpleasant burn that overshadows any potential complexity. This tequila simply doesn’t align with my preferences. Additionally, the price point feels inflated, especially considering the many other tequilas available that offer a more satisfying flavor experience at a more reasonable cost.

Extremely sweet version of don julio. I would think even sweeter than their anejo. Not much agave. Doesn't mix well in anything you try it with. Maybe something to start off a scotch drinker on to tequila? the price keeps plummeting for a reason.

Better Tequila out there for the price. Orange-some vanilla-not much Agave. Bit of a burn. I would pass.

This is the finest tequila I have had to date. The orange cask aging puts the perfect finishing touch on a wonderful 1942.

Rested in Orange wine casks. The aroma reminds me of Cuervo de la Familia XA with the orange and cooked agave notes. Easy on the tongue, very slight heat on the finish but overall great mouthfeel Unlike the rosado and original 1942. I dont get much vanilla on the palette.

Orange, vanilla and caramel take over. It’s too sweet for my taste.and definitely tailored to a sweeter palette. It’s missing the raw agave flavor that I expect from a reposado.

Aroma is orange/caramel to ethanol. Flavor is citrus and intense oak. At first there is a burn and then it finishes bitter like an orange peel. I will use this as a mixer rather than to sip on. I got this bottle for $90.97 at Costco last year(2023) thinking it was a good deal but now it’s going for $70 or $60.

Orange, caramel, vanilla, and agave. It’s labeled as a reposado but I’d say it’s much more like an anejo due to how rich the barrel flavors are. It tastes a bit more like a whiskey in a lot of ways, which sort of overpowers the agave. Not enough to make it unpalatable, but it defeats the point for me — I want agave to be the first flavor, not the last. It’s okay to sip, but not great. The more you sip it the more watered down it tastes. Maybe it’s good for people who don’t like tequila, but I feel like there’s better and cheaper ways you can achieve that, like drinking bourbon.

Citrus doesn’t sit right on the tongue.

On the nose: Oak with a good bit of Citrus, a some hints of Vanilla. Taste: Hits you with the Oak and Vanilla, the agave comes in after, and it finishes strong with the citrus. Good bottle and a bit of twist then what you would expect. If you liked this I would try Inspiro Rosa for a similarly light bright flavor.

Wood forward on the front, citrusy on the end. Agave is there. Very refreshing. Loses appeal when you realize there's way cheaper stuff that goes for a similar taste. Bummer price point holds this one back a lot. I guess I can recommend it if you have stupid money.
