Too funky/blue cheese for my palate

Nose: Earthy minerals, white pepper, clean alcohol, airy herbal scent. Taste: Creamy cooked agave, caramelized agave sweetness. White pepper. Rustic quality Overall: Excellent quality. Well balanced. Overproof?

$18 pour in San Francisco in a rocks glass (I know pretty lame, please take review with a grain of salt) Aroma: Cheesy agave with plenty of heft. Ethanol coming forward which I contribute to the rocks glass format. Maybe a hint of malt to it. Palate: Good mouth feel and evolution. Nothing ground breaking but very pleasant. Quality additive free blanco without a big punch.

On the nose I found cooked agave with some cheesey funk notes. There was an interesting lactic note on the palate that certainly was unique along with cooked agave, cheese, vegetal notes and fresh pepper like jalapeño & bell pepper. Very enjoyable, and different blanco from La Tequileña.

Very enjoyable full of cooked agave and drinks with ease! Heavy agave and Very balanced everything else!

Nose: earth/ mineral/ pepper / hint of banana/ hint of citrus / lemongrass / hay / hint of alcohol Taste: sweet agave / vanilla/ earth / cinnamon/ anise / banana / pear / cherry / orange/ grapefruit/ anise / spearmint/ hint of cream soda Finish: very light viscous mouthfeel/ very nice smoothness across the whole taste / cool water effect / lingering anise, agave, cinnamon notes This blanco has a lot of great flavors and aromas working together. It has a nice balance between the sweet and cinnamon spicy that provides a very gratifying experience. The nose is weak and the alcohol is a touch more prevalent than what should be for a well made 40% abv, but it’s not a point stealing issue. It’s good overall, but with a touch more refinement it could be next level.

Tasted at LATF. Solid blanco! 87 TMM Blind 2025–86. Pungent tart fruit aroma. Flavors of plum, agave, and jalapeño. Thin mouth but a nice medium tingle.

Aroma is safe and aromatic, I smell agave, cacao,banana, a herbaceous note, and water. Taste of cooked agave, nuts, cacao and trace amounts of caramel. Easy to drink and the dry down is charming, worth taking your time in-between sips. There is also the taste of chewed cashews, almonds, pecans. Very enjoyable.

Has a good, clean aroma, but not agave forward. A bit of cinnamon and a hint of black licorice on the finish. A solid quality tequila.

Agave, spiciness with herbal/grass notes. Slightly aggressive with lots of anise/black pepper/mint. Has a long bold finish

This Blanco has a pleasant oily feel in the mouth with strong peppery and mint flavors. it's also pleasantly sweet and an excellent choice as a sipper

Aroma: Light notes of citrus, pepper and herbs. Flavor: Hard to pinpoint, very clean and smooth on the palate, herbs and agave. Finish: Very clean herbal finish with a bite of pepper spice. Flavor lasts on the tongue. Overall: One of the best blancos I’ve tried for drinking neat.

Candy Apple, herbs, and agave on the nose. Taste is light candy apple and an agave rush. Light but pleasant burn.

Nice citrus aroma, well balanced.

have moved my rating up to an 88 since my video review from a few years back. This Blanco is excellent, especially for the $50 price tag at today's (2023) prices

Well balanced blanco, light heat, good cooked agave flavors

Aroma : Ripe cooked agave, alongside some baking spices, earth, and vegetal notes. Taste : The aromas carry through here with the right amount of sweet and spice. There is also some cinnamon and black pepper here to contrast the agave. Texture is nice and oily. Finish : Long and warm, and prolongs the sweet/spicy profile equal amounts.

Aroma/Palate: passion fruit, agave, lemon grass, mint, olives, mango, anise, peppercorn, Rosemary. Finish clean, medium, with nice fruit and agave taste, peppercorn and herbs. - excellent sipper . Lot: 031DFB19 bottle 2781

Finally tried those after years of being dialed into the additive free game. So good. 5 star, would recommend!

Aroma of cooked agave and maybe orange. Flavor of orange and spice. Hint of sweetness. Finish pleasant but not long.

I have grown to really love the full lineup from Don Fulano, starting with the blanco. No additives, no funny business, just straightforward good natural tequila. Aroma is agave, black pepper, earth and vegetal. Flavor has a rich sweet mature cooked agave taste. Super enjoyable. This is a tequila that will make both hardcore aficionados and tequila beginners happy.

Mint and peppery with a sweet finish, and a hint of cinnamon- layers of complexity. The more I drink it, the more I like it!

I really like this blanco. Earthy aroma with slight vegetal and olive. Taste is good with agave, earth and a light char undertone. The finish is one of the best—lengthy and warm.
