Monterey Tequila and Mezcal Fest. The aroma and taste reflects similar notes of, topical fruit ,lemon citrus , noticeable ethyl, light floral, grassiness. The finish is where the grassiness and tangs fades gracefully. I was surprised at how fruit forward with a bit of tang this tasted to me. I will undoubtedly pick up a bottle to get a full experience.

This is an average blanco. The nose has a great deal of citrus. Yes agave is there but is smells like a breakfast juice. I get a little anise and some agave. The palate is also very citrusy. Some mint and agave. Finish is fine and in concert with the palate. I’d drink it again but not one of my top dogs.

Very smooth, heavy agave and nutty finish. Not too peppery. A very well made tequila I would have rated higher but it is a bit pricey for a blanco.

Nose: Agave, Earth, Coconut, Banana, Butter, Almond, Cherry, Bubblegum Mouthfeel: Medium to full- bodied Palate: Chocolate, Banana, Pepper Minerality Finish: Butter, Coconut, Chocolate, Banana, Earthy, Bubblegum This was definitely a unique pour. The sweet flavors were really front and center. Almond, Chocolate, Coconut and Banana. At times, it felt like the tequila equivalent of an AlmondJoy. The banana seems to come through more and more as it opens up. This is a solid tequila but its also one that I don't see myself seeking out very often. Those chocolate and sweet fruity notes and flavors might strike me more on a hot day at the beach or after certsin desert dishes.

Nose- little Maletic funkiness, minerality, citrus anise, pepper Flavor- this is where it really shines. Cooked agave followed by little orange peel citrus mixed with a bitter dark chocolate. Very nice

Relatively subtle aroma, but very bright and clean. More raw agave than cooked agave. Also, some minerality and grassiness. Tastes, very clean and lively, quite a bit of anise, and agave. A lemon grass character as well. Very long and juicy finish for a Blanco. Perhaps a bit more expensive than I want to pay for a Plata like this. However, a very solid tequila overall.

The nose is very fragrant. I get lime zest, bright fruit notes and some anise / mint. Its a has a high viscosity. I taste buttery cooked agave, minerals, some vegetal notes, and spearamint before the slight peppery finish. This is a nice tequila! Its well made and tastes great.

The nose isn’t anything crazy. But the taste is so good. Buttery smooth. I get citrus, anise, and chocolate. Honestly, like a delicious chocolate covered orange. The finish is so smooth. Couldn’t stop drinking.

This is a clean flavor packed sipping plata. I have not heard of this before but my local bar has it and loved it. I enjoyed the buttery earthy nuance very bright and almost endless flavors and aromas. Very surprising from 40abv this complexity I usually find in a hp.

Cooked agave on the nose and palate. The nose was weak and unimpressive. If you let this linger in your mouth you get the citrus that many reviewers describe. The lingering also causes a bit of tongue and lip tingle.(pleasant) There’s a medium finish with more, mild, cooked agave. I didn’t get the anise that others mentioned. It could stand to lose a few bucks off the price but it is not outrageous. I do like the bottle look but that is not a reason to buy any tequila.
