Such a great high proof with a lot going on. A depth of aroma and flavors with this one. Nose: cooked agave, black pepper, mint, minerals cinnamon, bell pepper, citrus, and melon. Palate: cooked agave, black pepper, minerals, cinnamon, mint, butter, citrus, melon, and anise. Love the oily mouth feel and nice long finish. Let this one open up before diving in.

Love how thick and oily this is. Not overly complex but great flavor. For a high proof you get very little alcohol burn

Vessel: Chisholm Trail HP Jarrito Nose: Agave, Mint, Floral, Thyme, Green Bell Pepper Mouthfeel: light bodied, smooth texture Palate: Agave, Minerality, Black Pepper, Jalapeno Finish: Black Pepper, Jalapeno Pepper, Melon, Thyme This brought more joy to me than the Lost Lore HP, which obviously appears to be similar in most ways, but the abv. I got more depth in this one. Thyme comes to mind but there was also a lot of pepper and some fruity and floral notes. The palate itself surprised me a bit. Based on the nose, I would have expected less minerality on the palate. As you know if you follow my reviews, I'm a huge sucker for minerality. I'll say this one effectively won me over.

Nose is amazing, an agave pepper bomb, sweet beautiful agave is the feature on pallet and nose. All in all good product, just the finish is little sour but all in all easy buy if you see it.

Very nice offering from Lost Lore. This brand along with Sergio Cruz has been pumping out great products. Nose is sweet cooked agave with mint and minerals. Nice citrus aromas. A touch of alcohol on the nose. Grassy. Touch of green pepper. This is an agave bomb on the palate. Follows with pepper and butter. You definitely taste the high ABV but it still enhances the overall flavor. I get mint and minerals on the tongue. Nice buttery finish with good length.

Tried at Taco Mucho 3/1/25. Clean minerals and agave with some alcohol on the nose. Super sweet agave forward with citrus and minerality. Some pepper and heat on the finish.

Goes down too easy for a 55% with limited pepper. Not the most complex and the finish is shorter than I'd like but one of my favorite 110 proofs. | LOT 2

Nose: Sweet cooked agave, minerals-peppery and sweet, a hint of alcohol. Palate: sweet cooked agave, followed by sweet-peppery-slight citrus taste, followed by an alcohol kick, which surprisingly was not overpowering and didn’t have a lingering effect.

Aroma:agave up front with pepper, mint and mineral Taste: agave sweetness, hint of cinnamon and earth tone Finish: long well balanced finish with butter on the palate. Overall great still strength more balanced than I expected. I like Lost Lore displaying all aspects of the process of this tequila. This is the transparency that is appreciated.
